Crypto Boy…. Indeed

Before I say anything, does anyone know how to get my 1 hour 45 minutes back? And also, have suspense and plot twists been cancelled from movies? Even my little cousin could predict this movie scene by scene.

Anyway, Crypto boy is a 2023 movie about a boy who entered cryptocurrency after having issues with his father. He wanted to be financially independent so he jumped on an opportunity right after seeing one without making any research.

I could write a whole book about what I didn’t like in this movie so let’s talk about the few things what I enjoyed. I liked all of the lessons from this movie. What I took personally is that, reading reviews is not research. Most times, when people want to invest in crypto or tokens, instead of doing a proper research, they go to X or facebook to read reviews.

Let me just say it again that reading reviews is not research. In fact, some people have a whole digital farm leaving lovely yet false reviews and by the time you realize, you’d be investing in a Ponzi scheme. And we don’t want that, do we?

I somehow liked the acting in the movie but I liked the main character the most. How naive he was in everything which felt so real because most young people don’t know how Ponzi schemes work so the moment they start earning about $1 from just a little investment, they feel on top of the world. And for them, that’s all they need to invest even their family’s money.

Hmm, I honestly hated the fact that even though they were trying to get a message out there, they weren’t so clear about it. For someone like me who knows a little about crypto, I wouldn’t have a problem after watching this movie but what about the others who don’t? I’m very sure many people were scared away from the crypto world after watching this movie.

Well, maybe it’s up to us to preach the good news about crypto which brings me to an idea I had whiles watching this movie. What if we made a movie about hive? Okay that’s for another day.

Oh and the cinematograph! Sigh. I didn’t like it at all. Although the quality was great, I was very disappointed after finding out there was nothing special with the cinematography angles. I was anticipating great graphics. At least, something to compensate viewers for how the movie was but there was nothing. I fell asleep for two hours at one point and it took my cat’s meowing to even make me realize I was gone.

The movie wasn’t what I expected at all. No crypto action, no nothing. I think the tile should have been Ponzi scheme because crypto boy was such a bold title for a movie that says about 0.0001 % about the real nature of crypto. I’m definitely rating this movie 4.4/10 just for the lessons I got.

😂😂😂

Your review got me laughing, I pity people that just read reviews of stuff like this without doing their research.

You even tried and gave it a good score for someone like me I wouldn't give it a score because it's scoreless 😂😂

Oh that wouldn’t be nice. I had to leave something for efforts😂

What a pitiful movie. I guess one rich kid wanted to throw away money and he was too arrogant to get a good director 😁😁

Anyways, thanks for the review. I'll be avoiding this movie and won't lose my precious one hour forty-five minutes 😁😁

Finally I read to the end. I was anticipating reading something spicy about crypto.

Oh no! 1 hour 40 minutes is too precious to waste on something you rate 4.4
