CineTV Contest: The Hangover ~ An American Comedy Which Makes Me Happy.

Hello, movie fanatics. In the beginning of this year, I have promised myself to engage in anything that will make me happy. One thing which makes me happy is watching movies so I made sure that every movie I watch is one that will put a smile on my face.
I really cannot count how many times I have smiled based on the movies I have watched.

At the end, all these movies always make me happy so why not pick one? The Hangover should be my talked about movie tonight. The Hangover is an American comedy film some young guys who traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate a friend’s bachelors eve but one of them gets missing.

Plot of the movie

Doug Billings travels to Las Vegas for his bachelors eve just two days to his wedding ceremony. He went with his friends, Phil Wenneck, Alan Garner and Stu Price. Sid, Doug’s father-in-law to be loans Doug his Mercedes-Benz W111 for the celebration.

On waking up the next day, none of Doug’s friend could remember what happened the previous night. Doug was missing, Stu lost a tooth, a baby in the closet and a Bengal Tiger in the bathroom.

The men later found out that they were drugged with Rohypnol which was the reason for the memory loss and they all stepped out to find Doug, the groom to be. Their journey led to one thing or the other, Sid’s Mercedes-Benz got damaged but they were finally able to find Doug and they all drove back home the damaged car.

Finally, Doug marries Tracy despite all the challenges they had.

Is there anything I loved or hated about the movie?

I loved how Doug and Tracy finally married. In most cases of this kind of event, the marriage is mostly postponed and with that, the couples may not eventually get married due to the postponement of the marriage. So, I loved how they both got married even with everything that had happened to the men at Las Vegas.

Actually, I don’t hate anything about the movie. This doesn’t change the fact that the movie isn’t perfect but in its little way, it is a good work of art and I enjoyed every scene in the movie including its comedy part.

What part of the movie do I find interesting?

I find their stay at Las Vegas interesting. The scene was fun especially their night at the rooftop in Ceasers Palace while drinking Jagermeister.
And the morning was quite surprising and interesting.

There was a kind of suspense which I felt in me when they all woke up with Doug missing and everwhere looked strange and weird.
I asked myself questions like Did they have a fight with someone throughout the night? Did they have an attack? and more questions. I think that’s the greatest suspense felt in that movie.

The scene I love most in the movie

That scene at the rooftop is really amazing. I liked how they sneaked to the rooftop and taking shots of Jagermeister together. This reminds me of the shots of alcohol I took last at the club.

That scene was amazing and I could not love it less because I’m also an alcoholic so any scene which has to do with alcohol gets me entertained.

This movie is an amazing because the title goes well with what happened in the movie. In so many movies, they just give titles but this was based on what exactly happened in the movie.
Also, I’m a wedding freak. I love anything that has to do with weddings and marriages so it made me happy and we should never forget that it is a movie with a great sense of humor.

This is an interesting movie and I’ll rate it a 9/10. I won’t tell you that this is a must watch but it is a movie which everyone should watch.
