Modern societies usually show a lot of inequality, maybe not all over the world, but in most of them, I remembered it a few hours ago in a movie a bit jocular, rather full of black humor, which shows us how a very poor South Korean family, was able to do to survive, this movie is a furious criticism of the class division that preceded the success of the Squid Games, for those who do not know the movie won four Oscar Awards in 2020, Best Picture, Best Foreign Film, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

The plot focuses on how through a friend the young son of a family, named Ki-woo is engaged to pose as an English teacher for a young woman from a rich family, being so poor and seeing the opportunity he takes the opportunity to get a job also for his sister, she in turn manages to get one for his father and finally they get one for his mother, without the Park family realizing that they have hired all members of the same family, everything seems to be going smoothly, until they are discovered by the former housekeeper, and they in turn discover that the house has a hidden bunker where the former housekeeper has hidden her husband, as he is being pursued by a large number of creditors.
Basically, this film mixes the genres drama, suspense and black humor and shows us how a poor family, but with great talent and ingenuity and that due to the lack of employment and being desperate, they are forced or pushed to take advantage of the rich, resulting in a disaster.
At first glance we might think or conclude that the film is a sarcasm, in which a poor family takes advantage of a wealthy one, but if we listen carefully to the conversation that the young Min has with his friend KI-woo, he points out how many times the young man has tried to enter the university among other things without getting results.
So one thing leads to another and as it usually happens they discover how the family that has hired them (the Parker's) see them as inferior and smelly one day they focus their conversation on the father of the family who is their driver, unfortunately when everything gets out of control a series of events occur that end in tragedy and separation for the Ki family, now the question of the century, is it deserved for them? Yes, but this is where we must make a stop and remember how for many around the world even being capable and smart is so difficult to get into a university, (for not having the right surname, money or having studied in a prestigious school) get a good job, which means that you can not eat as it should, live in a decent place or have access to services, among others.
On the other hand, although at first we can see this Ki family as those who take advantage of the rich, which is true, if we analyze the Park family well we realize that these are also parasites, because they do not know how to do practically nothing, so they hire people to do it for them and those who want to exploit whenever they can, without rest or respite and when they are no longer useful or suspect anything they are simply discarded.
Finished, if you have not seen it I highly recommend this movie, it is available on the MAX and Netflix streamig platform, but watch it analyzing every detail especially its ending, which is open to different interpretations.
Las sociedades modernas suelen mostrar mucha desigualdad, tal vez no en todo el mundo, pero si en la mayoría, lo recordé hace unas horas en una película un poco jocosa, más bien llena de humor negro, la cual nos muestra como una familia surcoreana muy pobre, fue capaz de hacer para sobrevivir, esta película es una furiosa crítica a la división de clases que antecedió al éxito de los Juegos del Calamar, para los que no lo sepan la película gano cuatro Premios Óscar en 2020, mejor película, mejor película extranjera, mejor director y mejor guion original.

La trama se centra en como por medio de un amigo el joven hijo de una familia, de nombre Ki-woo se ve comprometido para hacerse pasar por un profesor de inglés para una joven de familia rica, al ser tan pobres y ver la oportunidad aprovecha para conseguir un empleo también para su hermana, ella a su vez logra conseguir uno para su padre y finalmente logran uno para su madre, sin que la familia Park se dé cuenta de que han contratado a todos los miembros de una misma familia, todo parece marchar sobre ruedas, hasta que se ven descubiertos por la antigua ama de llaves, y ellos a su vez descubren que la casa tiene un búnker oculto donde la antigua ama de llaves tiene escondido a su esposo, ya que lo persiguen una gran cantidad de acreedores.
Básicamente, esta película que mezcla los géneros drama, suspenso y humor negro y nos muestra como una familia pobre, pero que posee gran talento e ingenio y que ante la falta de empleo y al estar desesperados se ven obligados o empujados a aprovecharse de los ricos teniendo como consecuencia todo un desastre.
A simple vista podríamos pensar o llegar a la conclusión de que la película es un sarcasmo, en la que una familia pobre se aprovecha vilmente de otra adinerada, pero si escuchamos con detenimiento la conversación que sostiene el joven Min con su amigo KI-woo, este destaca cuantas veces el joven ha intentado ingresar a la universidad entre otras cosas sin obtener resultados.
Así una cosa lleva a la otra y como suele suceder descubren como la familia que les ha contratado (los Parker) los ven como inferiores y mal olientes un día que centran su conversación en el padre de familia quien es su chofer, por desgracia al salirse todo de control ocurre una serie de acontecimientos que terminan en tragedia y separación para la familia Ki, ahora bien la pregunta del siglo ¿merecido para ellos? Sí, pero aquí es donde debemos hacer un alto y recordar como para muchos alrededor del mundo aun siendo capaces y listos es tan difícil lograr ingresar a una universidad, (por no tener el apellido correcto, dinero o haber estudiado en una escuela prestigiosa) conseguir un buen empleo, lo que implica que no podrás comer como se debe, vivir en un lugar decente o tener acceso a servicios, entre otros.
Por otra parte, aunque en un primer momento podemos ver a esta familia Ki como los que se aprovechan de los ricos, lo que es cierto, si analizamos bien a la familia Park nos damos cuenta de que estos también son parásitos, pues no saben hacer prácticamente nada, por lo que contratan personas que las hagan por ellos y los que desean explotar cada vez que puedan, sin descanso, ni tregua y cuando ya no les son útiles o sospechan cualquier cosa son simplemente desechados.
Terminado, si no la han visto les recomiendo ampliamente esta película, se encuentra disponible en la plataforma streamig MAX y Netflix, pero véanla analizando cada detalle sobre todo su final, el cual está abierto a diferentes interpretaciones.
