The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live/ Review [ENG-SPA]

Years ago I did not believe myself capable of watching a series like The Walking Dead, I am a coward or rather fearful, but I discovered that although there are scenes a little strong and disgusting, there are also interesting plot and characters in which I think, basically, show us what would be capable of humans who survive after the collapse of the known world order.
For those of us who have seen this series we know that among the characters there are good people and there are the unhinged ones, seeing that the good ones cannot trust everyone, as the evil and crazy ones seem to have survived in greater numbers (or now they let themselves be seen, as there is no one to stop them and they become uninhibited), there is no other option but first to be distrustful and second to become tougher to survive in the middle of a world where you must first take care of the living dead and second of the people you find on your way.
Now, after officially ending the original series in tormo to which others had already emerged during its broadcast, now there are other spin-offs focused on the favorite or toughest characters of the series, a few days ago I found the pleasant surprise of one of them in the streaming channel Prime Video
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
This series focuses on two of the most beloved characters, such as Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). As expected, it tells us the events that both characters lived during the years they were away from the series and how they were reunited.
I think all of us who became fans of the central series needed to know or give closure to what had happened with the two of them and more after seeing the end of the series in which their children are looking at the horizon waiting for them and in which we see fragments of what both are or have gone through.
I can say that the series exceeded my expectations because we see how a man so hard on Rick managed to be let's say dominated by the people or society that kept him trapped and how Michonne, after a series of events finds him and must fight to restore the mind of the man she loves, as it has been broken, not to mention that as a father and husband, and having lost his first wife and son May, he puts the safety and happiness of his family before his own.
On the other hand, this series in only 6 chapters explains when and where the characters were, what they lived, how they met again and as always everything they are capable of when they are together and intend to kill their enemies or those they consider a threat, we also see the reappearance of 4 more characters from the central series, the remembered Jadis who gave Rick to the RCM, Gabriel Stokes and two more that I will not mention here.
The truth when I started watching the series, I thought I would stay waiting for a second season, because I would not see a closure, but if by chance they make a second season I do not know what plot they could deal with, because as far as I'm concerned I already saw the kind of action I expected from these two characters and the closure as well.
In short, seeing Rick and Micchonne in action again has been great, because although in the series there were other interesting characters, they two stood out for their character and mettle, so if you want to see this series in its first season and I do not know if only, is available on Prime Video.
Hace años no me creí capaz de ver una serie como The Walking Dead, soy una cobarde o mejor dicho miedosa, pero descubrí que aunque hay escenas un poco fuertes y asquerosas, también hay trama y personajes interesantes en los que creo que, básicamente, nos muestran de lo que serían capaces los seres humanos que sobrevivieran tras el colapso del orden mundial conocido.
Para los que hemos visto esta serie sabemos que entre los personajes hay personas buenas y están los desquiciados, al ver los buenos que no pueden confiar en todos, pues parecen haber sobrevivido en mayor número los malvados y locos (o ahora se dejan ver, pues no hay quien se los impida y se desinhiben), no queda más opción que primero ser desconfiado y segundo hacerse más duro para sobrevivir en medio de un mundo en que primero debes cuidarte de los muertos vivientes y segundo de las personas que encuentras en tu camino.
Ahora bien, tras finalizar oficialmente la serie original en tormo a la cual ya habían surgido otras durante su emisión, ahora hay otros spin-offs centrados en los personajes favoritos o más duros de la serie, hace unos días me encontré con la grata sorpresa de uno de ellos en al canal streaming Prime Video

Esta serie se centra en dos de los personajes más queridos, como lo son Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) y Michonne (Danai Gurira). Como es de esperarse, nos narra los acontecimientos que vivieron ambos personajes durante los años que estuvieron fuera de la serie y cómo se reencontraron.
Creo que todos los que nos volvimos fan de la serie central necesitamos saber o darle un cierre a lo que había sucedido con ellos dos y más tras ver el final de la serie en la que sus hijos quedan viendo al horizonte esperándoles y en la que vemos fragmentos de lo que ambos están o han pasado.
Puedo decir que la serie supero mis expectativas porque vemos como un hombre tan duro con Rick logro ser digamos que dominado por las personas o sociedad que lo mantenía atrapado y como Michonne, tras una serie de acontecimientos lo encuentra y debe luchar para restaurar la mente del hombre que ama, ya que ha sido quebrada, sin olvidar que como padre y esposo, y al haber perdido a su primera esposa y su hijo mayo, antepone la seguridad y felicidad de su familia a la suya.
Por otra parte, esta serie en solo 6 capítulos nos explica cuando y donde estaban los personajes, lo que vivieron como se reencontraron y como siempre de todo lo que son capaces cuando están juntos y se proponen acabar con sus enemigos o los que consideran una amenaza, además vemos reaparecer a 4 personajes más de la serie central, la recordada Jadis quien entrego a Rick a la RCM, Gabriel Stokes y dos más que no mencionaré aquí.
La verdad cuando comencé a ver la serie, creí que me quedaría esperando una segunda temporada, pues no vería un cierre, pero si por casualidad hacen una segunda temporada no sé que trama podrían tratar, pues en lo que a mí concierne ya vi el tipo de acción que esperaba de estos dos personajes y el cierre también.
En resumen, volver a ver en acción a Rick y Micchonne ha sido genial, pues aunque en la serie había otros personajes interesantes, ellos dos destacaban por su carácter y temple, así que sí desean ver esta serie en su primera temporada y desconozco si única, está disponible en Prime Video

Esperaba esta serie con muchas ansias desde que la anunciaron, ver de nuevo al personaje de Rick Grimes me trajo mucha nostalgia, hacen un lindo equipo con Michonne. La verdad es que me gustó mucho esta mini serie y el capítulo final se me hizo muy conmovedor. Quede satisfecha con el resultado. Ahora tengo que ponerme al día con los otros spin off.
A mí también me gusto mucho. El final genial y te cuento que la primera temporada de Nigan y Magie también está en Prime Video, yo quiero ver la de Daryl
