I'm a little late to talk about this movie and tell you to see it in theaters, since it has about a month and a half in theaters, but just today it came out on the internet and just today I saw it, so I come at the perfect time to say: if you haven't seen Wild Robot yet, take advantage that it is already on the internet and see what for me is the best animated movie of the year. A movie that, if you are on the internet most likely you have already heard a lot about it, and if not, let me tell you that if you have the time to not only read this post, but also watch it and look for more about the film, you will be enriched in an incredible way because the film has several issues to touch both in production and in the final product, and I, humbly, I will only do a review from my point of view:
The wild robot is a film that from minute one shows us our protagonist, Roz, a robot who by fate is stranded on a desert island where there is only wildlife. Over time, Roz learns to communicate with animals and by fate now has the mission to take care of a baby goose who has no family and who sees this robot as a mother. Thus, Roz and Brightbill (the name given to the goose) begin an adventure with a fox named Fink, to learn about nature and get Brightbill to learn the customs of his species before winter arrives and thus be able to emigrate. With this as a premise, Wild Robot is a perfect movie to watch with the family and remember the great love that a mother has for her son, who is capable of giving everything she has to see her son happy and also to see him succeed in what he needs.
As for the technical aspect, I am amazed at how dreamworks has been able to not only adapt to the new animation style that is emerging because of spiderman, but also manages to do something different when it is believed that it is no longer possible to innovate in this technique. I say this because of the way they drew the water, or how they drew the animals; believe me when I tell you that it is one of the most beautiful animated films I have ever seen in my life and this is because those landscapes are strongly inspired by Studio Ghibli films, but with the vision and technology of American 3D animation studios. This is incredible, but on top of that, the director, Chris Anders, is also the director of Lilo and Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon, which in itself is synonymous with quality.
The truth, talking so much about movies and always saying that they are the best, makes me feel a little bad for the fact that I don't have much criteria for movies, but it is that when month after month movies with this quality come out, it is impossible not to be happy for how fascinating this world is and the amount of stories that filmmakers bring us since ever. The Wild Robot is not a simple movie to watch on a Sunday, but it hides as one and it also works as one, so it seems to me that it will be one of those movies that children will watch many times in those years of youth with their parents.

Llego un poco tarde para hablar de esta película y decir que la vean en cines, ya que tiene aproximadamente mes y medio en cartelera, pero justo hoy salió en internet y justo hoy la vi, así que llego en el momento perfecto para decir: si aún no han visto Wild Robot, aprovechen que ya está en internet y vean lo que para mí es la mejor película animada del año. Una película que, si estas en internet lo más probable es que ya hayas escuchado mucho de ella, y si no, déjame decirte que si tienes el tiempo para no solo leer este post, sino también verla y buscar más sobre la película, te vas a enriquecer de una forma increíble ya que la película tiene varios temas que tocar tanto en producción cómo en el producto final, y yo, humildemente, solo haré una review desde mi punto de vista:
The wild robot es una película que desde el minuto uno nos muestra a nuestra protagonista, Roz, una robot que por causas del destino queda varada en una isla desierta donde solo hay vida salvaje. Con el tiempo, Roz aprende a comunicarse con los animales y por azares del destino ahora tiene como misión cuidar a un ganso bebé que no tiene familia y que ve a esta robot como una madre. Así, Roz y Brightbill (el nombre que le ponen al ganso) comienzan una aventura junto a un zorro llamado Fink, para conocer sobre la naturaleza y lograr que Brightbill aprenda las costumbres de su especie antes de que llegue el invierno y de esta manera poder emigrar. Con esto como premisa, Wild Robot es una película perfecta para ver en familia y recordar el gran amor que tiene una madre por su hijo, que es capaz de dar todo de sí con tal de ver a su hijo feliz y además verlo triunfar en lo que necesita.
En cuanto a lo técnico, me sorprende como dreamworks ha sabido no solo adaptarse al nuevo estilo de animación que está surgiendo por spiderman, sino que además logra hacer algo diferente cuándo se cree que ya no se puede innovar en esta técnica. Esto lo digo por la forma en la que dibujaron el agua, o como dibujaron a los animales; créanme cuándo les digo que es una de las películas animadas más hermosas que he visto en mi vida y esto se debe a que esos paisajes están fuertemente inspirados en las películas de Studio Ghibli, pero con la visión y la tecnología de los estudios de animación 3D estadounidenses. Esto es increíble, pero además de eso, el director, Chris Anders, es también el director de Lilo y Stitch y cómo entrenar a tu dragon, lo que ya de por si es sinónimo de calidad.
La verdad, al hablar tanto de películas y siempre decir que son lo mejor, me hace sentir un poco mal por el hecho de no tener mucho criterio para las películas, pero es que cuándo mes tras mes salen películas con esta calidad, es imposible no alegrarse por lo fascinante que es este mundo y la cantidad de historias que nos traen los cineastas desde siempre. The Wild robot no es una simple película para ver un domingo, pero se esconde como una y funciona también como una, por lo que me parece que será una de esas películas que los niños verán muchas veces en esos años de juventud junto a sus padres.
