Greetings!

When the idea of the Marvels getting together as a team surfaced, I was very reluctant to watch it. To be honest, I kind of have some superhero fatigue. However, I am not dismissing the movie since it may have some important connections to the coming Marvel movies. As of now, the movie that I am looking forward to watching is Blade. But then I decided to watch The Marvels today.

What interests me about watching this movie is the fact that I am still interested in the "Marvel" characters, especially Carol Danvers. It is a good thing that the opening of the movie didn't disappoint and it is very engaging.

Great Opening Scene

Although the opening scene is a bit "girly and comic style" it still came out great and is very unique since the opening of the first Guardian of the Galaxy movie. Marvel nailed this one, especially for the teenagers who are fans of Kamala Khan (the first Asian/Muslim superhero). Also not to be denied is the lead opening scene where Dar-Benn found one of the Quantum Bands.

I love Goose

I was a little bit surprised when I first saw the Flerken in the Captain Marvel movie. And then when I found out that they are also in the movie I was excited to see what would happen to the Flerken, which I believe is Goose, the one that Captain Marvel guided to make her a coffee.

Jump Point anomaly - a great idea for uniting

At the beginning of the movie, I was beginning to think how the three Marvels are going to unite and it was answered during the Jump Point anomaly scene. But there's a slight difference from what I was expecting. Instead of three being united because of the jump point anomaly they switched places (a fun idea). And from then on, everything is a funny, and beautiful mess. Kamala's scene even made her excited about seeing Nick Fury even if she is scared to death since she was sent from her room into space (inside a space suit).

Unexpected death

I am honestly thinking that Dar-Benn is going to be alive at the end of the movie. But then it was the opposite she died because of the enormous power of the Quantum Bands which reduced her body to ashes leaving only the Quantum Bands intact.

After her death, I am thinking about how this movie is going to be connected with other Marvel franchises. But then it was answered at the end credit of the movie when Kamala Khan tried to recruit Kate Bishop the apprentice of Clint Barton (Hawkeye).

Conclusion

All in all The Marvels is a fun movie to watch though anyone can notice its jumbled scenes but still Marvel was able to accomplish the seemingly impossible task of creating a good movie that features three of the most prominent characters of Marvel. It is fun to watch and makes you think about what will happen next because of the switching of places and the inclusion of Goose, the Flerken.

That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
