"Titanic" by James Cameron: One of the Highest-grossing Films of All Time

There are a lot of movies out there that are worth watching again and again. If we are going to look into the history books a lot of the movies that are listed in the top-grossing films of all time are fantasy and superhero movies. There are only three movies that are not superhero and fantasy movies and one of them is "Titanic" which is based on a true story. Titanic is one of the movies that is worth watching over and over again especially if you watch it in a more high-definition format than you previously watched it.

The narrative of Titanic is about the secluded life of Rose and the easy-go-lucky life of Jack. Both were aboard the RMS Titanic on that fateful night. They became friends and adventurous when eventually developing a liking for each other and staying together while the RMS Titanic sank.

The first scene of the movie is quite sad because of the background being played which is the humming voice of a woman in the tune of "My Heart Will Go On". The first footage is also likable because it shows the RMS Titanic in all its glory before departing. I also like that they made the first footage in yellow sepia depicting the old times while showing the people aboard waving goodbye.

The transition of the movie is also smooth, from the old time to the present while exploration of the shipwreck of the RMS Titanic beneath the ocean floor is ongoing to find a diamond. It is so amazing to see the real shipwreck of the ship before other scenes were played.

Then there's the most famous painting in the movie. The painting of Rose by Jack. It was the time when the two (Rose and Jack) were getting along with each other.

The transition of a lot of time to the present is amazing as shown in this first scene that showed the RMS Titanic during its maiden voyage.

Then there is the first scene of Kate Winslet as Rose. Her clothes are amazing as she portrays a character that is in "alta-sociedad". Her fiancee too looks amazing in his Tuxedo.

I also like the scene when the full view of the Titanic is shown. Looking at it and imagining the year it was built it is truly majestic and luxurious.

The first meeting of Jack and Rose is not like I have ever imagined. I thought they would meet on another occasion other than when Rose was attempting to jump off the ship because of frustration. But Jack was there at the exact time, depicting that it was Rose and Jack's destiny to meet each other in the most unlikely way.

Alongside the Titanic, there is also one thing that is popular in this movie. The diamond called "The Heart of the Ocean" was given to Rose by her fiancee. It is the very diamond Brock Lovett is looking for at the beginning of the movie.

And then there's the scene that I don't like much when people with money look down on people like Jack Dawson. It is a good thing that the script is made to show how a happy-go-lucky person like Jack does value life and enjoys what he has which is a very definition of a person that is not materialistic.

I must admit that the action of the inner circle of the fiancee of Rose perfectly mimics how rich would behave but to be honest it kind of I don't like probably because I also see myself in the shoes of Jack. It is a good thing that the movie captured it perfectly.

One of the most famous scenes in the entire movie came when Jack and Rose were at the front of the ship and then Jack asked Rose to spread her hands. This was one of the most famous scenes ever in a movie.

Also, the scene of Jack drawing Rose naked is probably one of the most R-18 scenes of the movie. Needless to say, that it is one of the most memorable scenes of the entire movie.

The transition of a scene from the exciting chase of Rose and Jack comes to an end with a dreaded look at the two of the ship's lookout when they see that they are about to hit an iceberg. And then it went spiral for the ship from then on.

Amidst the fact that the ship is sinking, I appreciate the twist of the movie when the fiancee Rose tries to kill them both because of the affection that they have shown to each other. In the scene, Billy Zane is superb in portraying a fiancee who has a mental breakdown when he is not able to accept what is happening to him.

From the moment that the ship the iceberg to the fateful hours until she sunk the scene where all very thrilling and very very sad. The moment that the ship hit the iceberg it kept me on the edge of my seat. All of the scene from then on in my opinion is superb. The idea of a lonely man playing music so as not to cause a panic made me cry. I think Titanic is one of the few movies that made me cry. It was outstanding and became one of the highest-grossing films of all time.

To all of those who were not yet born in 1997, I do recommend that you watch this movie. It is superb, needless to say, it is in the Top 10 of the highest-grossing films of all time. If I am not mistaken it currently sits as the fourth highest-grossing of all time.

Apart from all of that, Titanic is based on a true story. I did not include any more screenshots since the time the iceberg was spotted so as not to spoil anyone who wants to watch it for the first time. Just take a long the faces of the two lookouts and then imagine what would happen next and then watch the movie if you want to find out.
