Would you be with the quietest girl in school? On the surface, mild-mannered, but if you turn her down, she can become your worst nightmare.

The bloody date takes place after Lola asks the boy she likes, Brent, to the school dance but he turns her down because he already has a partner he is in love with. He leaves without thinking about the situation, without imagining that Lola, because of his rejection, would kidnap him and subject him to a series of macabre torments under the façade of a house party thrown by Lola and her father, where things will get worse and worse for our protagonist.

Don't trust the quiet one in the living room!

¿Saldrías con la chica mas tranquila de la escuela? En apariencia, apacible pero si la rechazas, puede convertirse en tu peor pesadilla.

La cita sangrienta se da después de que Lola , invita al chico que le gusta, Brent, al baile de la escuela pero este la rechaza ya que ya tenia a su pareja del cual estaba enamorado. El, se retira sin pensar en esa situación, sin imaginar que Lola, por su rechazo, lo secuestraría y lo sometería a una serie de tormentos macabros bajo la fachada de una fiesta casera hecha por Lola y su padre donde las cosas se pondrán cada vez peor para nuestro protagonista.

¡No confíes en la callada del salón!

Totally disturbing and full of insane surprises. By surprises I don't mean just Lola's madness but rather, as the film progresses, we notice even more gruesome and macabre details beyond the subtle gore we see. That's the superficial part, the tortures inflicted on Brent. They are horrible, yes, but there is an implicit horrible undercurrent that anyone who analyses the situation a little will realise the pathological, demented level of Lola and her father.

Totalmente perturbadora y llena de sorpresas demenciales. Con sorpresas no me refiero a solo la locura de Lola sino mas bien, que a medida que avanza el film, podemos notar detalles aún más horribles y macabros mas allá del gore sutil que vemos. Esa es la parte superficial, las torturas infringidas a Brent. Son horribles, si , pero hay un trasfondo horrible implícito que quien analice un poco la situación, se dará cuenta del nivel patológico demencial de Lola y su padre.

Although Brent is the main protagonist, Lola steals the film. Not only because of the perfectly crafted, unhinged character, but also because the actress (Robin Macleavy) does an excellent job. You see this character and you really believe all the madness she shows. It's very scary and I really wouldn't want to bump into her as she's a person who could easily be your schoolmate and/or workmate.

Si bien, Brent es el protagonista principal, Lola se roba la película. No solo por el personaje tan desquiciado perfectamente armado sino, porque la actriz (Robin Mcleavy) hizo un excelente trabajo ¡Pedazo de actriz! Ves a este personaje y de verdad te crees toda la locura que muestra. Da mucho miedo y de verdad no me gustaría topármela ya que es una persona que tranquilamente podría ser tu compañera de escuela y/o trabajo.

A demented gore film but more subtle than a conventional one, and that touch of "subtlety" makes it an exquisite piece of horror cinema.

Disturbing, strong, full of horrible secrets of a family of madmen who like to torture people for the most trivial of reasons. A film that will be enjoyed by those who are fans but will disgust those who are not used to it. You will feel like you are the one in Brent's place, making every inch of your skin freeze, you will feel his dread and desperation as you try to escape from your unscrupulous captors. Really, the film is spectacular. I give it a 10/10 because until the end, it is poetic.

Una película demencial del tipo gore pero más sutil que una convencional y ese toque de "sutileza" la hace una pieza exquisita del cine de horror.

Perturbadora, fuerte, llena de secretos horribles de una familia de dementes que gusta de torturar a la gente por los motivos mas triviales. Una película que disfrutarán quienes son aficionados pero que asqueará a los que no están acostumbrados. Sentirás que eres tú, el que esta en el lugar de Brent generando que cada centímetro de tu piel se congele, sentirás su mismo pavor y desespero al querer huir de tus captores sin escrúpulos. De verdad, es espectacular la peli. Le doy un 10/10 ya que hasta el final, es poético ¡Saludos!
