Uno de los aspectos que más me impresionó fue el compromiso de Emma Stone al explorar diversas formas de caminar para capturar la transformación física de su personaje, Bella Baxter. Bella es inquieta, aventurera y conforme descubre un mundo nuevo, su actuación es cautivadora. Aunque al inicio me recordó la etapa de mi hija bebé y a un niño malcriado en la calle.

However, at the end of the film, I realized that the meaning is completely reversed. The extraordinary creation that Bella Baxter is and her way of thinking lead me to the conclusion that, in reality, the real poor creatures are us, society: socially conditioned and indoctrinated by rigid patterns. The film manages to question our perception of what it is to be human and invites us to reflect on our own condition within a socially constructed environment.

"Poor things" is a movie that I would recommend unreservedly, but I warn that it is not suitable for children or teenagers. It is made for the enjoyment of adult audiences and for those who appreciate good cinema. I hope you get a chance to experience this magnificent movie for yourselves!
