Good Morning Vietnam is a 1988 comedy starring Robin Williams that explores the dark and morose conflict and those who worked to shine their light during uncertain times. This film explores how a fallen disc jockey pursues a love interest and becomes involved in a conflict much larger than he can handle. Williams falls in love and ends up teaching English to a class of Vietnamese who benefit from his wit and end up learning English slang. Williams is ultimately saved by a friend who dislikes his allegiance but likes him as a person. It's a lesson in the complexity of war.
