A handkerchief please - Impossible not to cry with Wild Robot | Review (Eng - Esp)

Greetings dear friends of the community, have a good morning, afternoon or evening depending on the place and time you see this post. I do not want to pass the opportunity to share here a small review, some impression and a small and awakening of curiosity in the form of spoiler about this great movie that had me with intrigue, but quiet, let's move to the next paragraph and talk about I am at once, that if I warn you that if you are very sentimental you will be moved with the review, and when you see the movie your eyes will be a cascade of tears.

Saludos estimados amigos de la comunidad, tengan todos buenos días, buenas tardes o buenas noches dependiendo del lugar y hora en la que ves este post. No quiero pasar la oportunidad de compartir aquí una pequeña reseña, algo de impresión y una pequeña y despertadora de curiosidad en forma de spoiler a cerca de esta gran película que me tenia con la intriga, pero tranquilo, pasemos al siguiente párrafo y hablemos de estoy de una vez, eso si te advierto que si eres muy sentimental te conmoverás con la reseña, y cuando veas la pelicular tus ojos serán una fuente cascada de lagrimas.

Since a few days ago I was watching on the social network Tiktok many reviews and comments from people who tearfully talked about the movie (Wild Robot). So yesterday, Sunday 20th of this month, I watched the movie with my wife with high expectations, expecting a shocking animation, but what I found was something even more profound: a film that addresses humanity through the eyes of a robot, and does it in an incredibly emotional way.

Desde hace algunos días estuve viendo en la red social Tiktok muchas reseñas y comentarios de personas que con lagrimas hablaban a cerca de la película (Robot Salvaje). Así que el día de ayer domingo 20 del presente mes vi la película junto a mi esposa con expectativas altas, esperando una animación impactante, pero lo que encontré fue algo aún más profundo: una película que aborda la humanidad a través de los ojos de un robot, y lo hace de una manera increíblemente emotiva.

The film follows Roz, a robot who ends up stranded on an island full of wildlife. With no humans in sight, Roz faces the challenge of surviving in a completely new environment. What starts out as a survival story quickly morphs into an exploration of motherhood, community, and what it means to be “alive” This is the best part of the film quite apart from other aspects but, everything takes an unexpected turn and from there on out you watch the rest of the film with watery eyes. Roz, who is initially programmed to perform simple tasks, is forced to adapt and learn from the creatures that inhabit the island.

La película sigue a Roz, un robot que acaba varado en una isla llena de vida salvaje. Sin humanos a la vista, Roz se enfrenta al desafío de sobrevivir en un entorno completamente nuevo. Lo que comienza como una historia de supervivencia rápidamente se transforma en una exploración sobre la maternidad, la comunidad, y lo que significa ser "vivo" Esto es lo mejor de la película muy aparte de otros aspectos pero, todo da un giro inesperado y de allí en adelante vez el resto de la película con los ojos aguados. Roz, quien inicialmente está programada para realizar tareas simples, se ve obligada a adaptarse y a aprender de las criaturas que habitan la isla.

The premise may seem simple, but Wild Robot is loaded with an emotional depth that grabs you from the start. Visually, the film is a marvel. This blend of the mechanical with the natural is not only aesthetically appealing, but also reinforces the film's central theme: Roz's journey to become more than just a machine.

La premisa puede parecer simple, pero Robot Salvaje está cargada de una profundidad emocional que te atrapa desde el principio. Visualmente, la película es una maravilla. Esta mezcla de lo mecánico con lo natural no solo es atractiva estéticamente, sino que también refuerza el tema central de la película: el viaje de Roz para convertirse en algo más que una máquina.

There's one particular scene - and here goes my little spoiler - in which Fink helps Roz fend off a danger on the island. This moment is not only full of tension, but it also marks a turning point in the relationship between the characters, making you really feel Roz's emotional growth.

Hay una escena particular —y aquí va mi pequeño spoiler— en la que Fink ayuda a Roz a defenderse de un peligro en la isla. Este momento no solo está lleno de tensión, sino que también marca un punto de inflexión en la relación entre los personajes, haciéndote sentir realmente el crecimiento emocional de Roz.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the film is how it addresses the theme of family. Roz, who begins as an outsider on the island, slowly becomes accepted by the animals that live there. In particular, the relationship she develops with a small goose, named Brightbill, is the heart of the film. I don't want to go into too much detail, but there is something so pure about the way Roz learns to be a mother figure to Brightbill, that it is impossible not to be moved. This relationship reflects universal themes about family, sacrifice and learning from each other.

Uno de los aspectos más notables de la película es cómo aborda el tema de la familia. Roz, quien comienza como una forastera en la isla, lentamente es aceptada por los animales que viven allí. En particular, la relación que desarrolla con un pequeño ganso, llamado Brightbill, es el corazón de la película. No quiero entrar en muchos detalles, pero hay algo tan puro en la manera en que Roz aprende a ser una figura materna para Brightbill, que es imposible no sentirse conmovido. Esta relación refleja temas universales sobre la familia, el sacrificio y el aprendizaje mutuo.

On a technical level, for me Wild Robot is impeccable.the action scenes are choreographed with precision, while the quieter moments, where Roz simply observes the life around him, I just remember it and it moves me, they have an almost poetic beauty, no doubt it is a journey to another emotional dimension. In addition, the soundtrack, composed by Kris Bowers, adds an extra layer of emotionality to the story, complementing each scene perfectly, so it all felt like it fit together in an unparalleled way.

A nivel técnico, para mi Robot Salvaje es impecable.Las escenas de acción están coreografiadas con precisión, mientras que los momentos más tranquilos, donde Roz simplemente observa la vida a su alrededor, solo lo recuerdo y me conmueve, tienen una belleza casi poética,sin duda es una viaje a otra dimensión emocional. Además, la banda sonora, compuesta por Kris Bowers, añade una capa extra de emotividad a la historia, complementando cada escena de manera perfecta, así es todo sentí que encajaba de una manera inigualable.

The film manages to balance moments of humor, action and drama in a way that will resonate with adults and children alike. It is one of those films that leaves an impression, not only because of its visuals, but because of the deep themes it touches on.

La película logra equilibrar momentos de humor, acción y drama de una manera que resonará tanto con adultos como con niños. Es una de esas películas que deja una huella, no solo por su aspecto visual, sino por los temas profundos que toca.

I saw the movie with my wife as mentioned at the beginning, but I strongly urge you that if you can get a large part of the family together including obviously the little ones, the whole family will feel the impact of this great delivery. This will remind them of love and togetherness at all times and that many times we are in a place thinking that we are only there by chance or by destiny and the reality is that things can change and life cannot lead us to be in a situation where we will be moved by love and entangle our purpose as a family in this sense.

Yo vi la película junto a mi esposa como lo menciona al principio, pero yo te pido encarecidamente que si puedes reunir a gran parte de la familia incluyendo obviamente a los mas pequeños, toda la familia sentirá el impacto de esta gran entrega. Esto les hará recordar el amor y la unión en todo momento y que muchas veces estamos en un lugar pensando que solo estamos por casualidad o por destino y lo real es que las cosas puedan cambiar y la vida no puede llevar a estar en una situación donde seremos movido por el amor y enredemos nuestro propósito como familia en este sentido.
