For this type of film to be successful, it is important that there is a strong chemistry between the main actors. And yes, there is, it comes and goes a lot and that's what makes this movie so great.

The brilliant and charismatic Anne Hathaway in this role and the wonderful and outstanding Nicholas Galitzine in this role turn a seemingly simple and unappealing story into a completely opposite movie.

There is electricity, there is magnetism, there is passion, there is love, there are moments of joy and fun but there are also moments of emotion and feeling.

It's surprising how deep the film goes, with a flat beginning that reminded me of the typical stupid, plotless comedy that hits all the stereotypes... and he can do it.

There are some clichés, but the director handles them with such grace, tenderness and brilliance that when he hits them, he stomps on them and turns them to dust.

Anne Hathaway does it, she believes in it, her co-star Nicholas Galitzine achieved what seemed impossible by rising to her level, reacting to her and even glimpsing a liberated Anne Hathaway.

In fact, both actors play almost equal leads (although Anne Hathaway is a bit taller) and their performances are so engaging and show so much charisma that the chemistry both parties share throughout the film is very impressive. with a beautiful and emotional final scene.

Are there any minor flaws? Yes, it has them, but they are so small, so insignificant that you hardly notice them. Perhaps the worst was the slow and somewhat shaky start. But then it gradually came back to hell with a beautiful ending.

Its director has a great talent. This shows in the scenes, in the care he put in the development of the two main characters, in giving them soul and emotion.

Perhaps this is because the supporting actors who acted in the film were few and very little developed, although the director tried to get something out of each of them at the right time.

A very interesting and romantic film.
