Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip (2025)

Disney +'s new bet is to bring us a new adventure of Judith Viorst's book and it does it with a fun family comedy that will make you have a good time in front of the screen with the simplicity of its Latino charm within an American family.
One of the great successes of the film is to have a very charismatic cast with whom you can connect and get attached as a family from the first minutes.
Eva Longoria, Jesse Garcia, Paulina Chavez and especially Thom Nemer have a lot of fun in this family adventure full of situations that make us laugh easily and also move us to the heart of a family with those Latin roots as an addition.

We can also add Rose Portillo and Cheech Marin as great supporting actors. All this chaotic family adventure is in the good hands of a family that makes you live good moments.
Director Marvin Lemus and screenwriter Matt Lopez play it safe and don't complicate a story to please everyone.
They invite us to a family trip full of effective clichés and few things that break the mold, but that allows you to get hooked first and give yourself to a movie to disconnect and spend a pleasant moment in front of the screen.
It doesn't look for more than what it delivers and it doesn't need it either, it's a movie easy to connect with, easy to love and above all quite funny, which is what gives the best satisfaction.
A simple family story for young and old in equal doses where the laughs are guaranteed plus the emotions and that flavor of Mexican and at times Latin culture that is always a pleasant moment to watch.
Without being a blockbuster (nor pretending to be) it has some very fresh dialogues and a sometimes easy humor, yes, sometimes sharp, and even critical.
