Director Mitja Okorn presents us with a blockbuster drama that contains a sporting step forward in Polish history, but also an emotional story about dreams, disappointments and ambitions in life.

With solid performances from leads Eric Kulm and Adrianna Chlebitska, they bring a sense of intensity to the film and pick up the pace as we discover what lies behind this boxing story.

As we delve deeper into the characters, we also see the path of a series of decisions that brought this film to life and through which the director focused us on all it had to offer.

A supporting cast also allows the main couple to shine, deftly capturing their raw, honest and sincere nature, while illuminating a dark era that the director knows how to handle in all the right measures to achieve just the right level of drama and intensity. and comedy.

In any case, the film, despite its successful script, gives the feeling that the story drags on throughout its duration, which at times suggests that there are certain repetitive moments in what we see and it's a bit tiring the path that leads to a fair and pleasing ending.

Netflix might think it's worth giving it a chance. It's a very good film that ultimately shows how boxing can be used as a story about the lives we connect with, while also reflecting on the history that often colors our lives.

Never heard of this one, thanks for putting it on my radar!
Not sure if I will watch it as there are so many movies and series out there to compete with.

It is an interesting Polish production whose essence is not sports.
