“Buffalo Kids” is a Spanish animated film released in 2024 that has nothing to envy to Hollywood productions.

This feature film has it all: a captivating script that will make the children who watch it vibrate with emotion, a high quality animation, a Spanish dubbing that stands out for its interpretation and a soundtrack that transports us to the Wild West.

The plot follows two orphaned children, less than ten years old, who arrive from Ireland to the land of opportunity at the end of the 19th century.

Although they await the arrival of their uncle, he fails to show up for unknown reasons, leading the little boys to take a train in the hope of finding him.

Throughout their journey, they will face endless adventures, encountering both friends and enemies. There will be moments of laughter, as well as situations that will test their ingenuity and courage.

Will they manage to complete their journey and reunite with their uncle? What dangers await them along the way?

“Buffalo Kids” is an endearing film, designed for a children's audience, that promises laughs galore thanks to its excellent script and careful filmmaking. However, what really stands out is its sensitivity and originality.

I would like to highlight, although it may sound repetitive, the way in which the story of one of the main characters, a child with cerebral palsy, is approached. The film treats this subject with the utmost respect and affection, which makes it an example of inclusion and empathy. At no point does the film feel boring; every scene is full of dynamism and emotion, keeping viewers captivated from beginning to end. “Buffalo Kids” not only entertains, but also teaches important values such as friendship, courage and perseverance. It is a film that will undoubtedly leave a mark in the hearts of those who see it, making it an ideal option to enjoy with the family.
