Starring the always charming Kate Beckinsale in the title role, this film will not go down in history as one of the great experiences starring the British actress.

The reason is that the story we encounter is rather stale and doesn't bring much new to the table, making it a decent film, but one that in any case won't be remembered beyond the end credits.

It contains some satisfying scenes, well shot by a director who knows how to handle the genre in which the film is set, but they lack the intensity and strong tension that would make it a great classic or a film that stands out from the rest.

It's more of a film that delivers just enough, without having any great moments that would make it memorable beyond a simple weekend bet on a streaming platform.

What stands out is the cast, which gives us a stronger experience than necessary. Kate Beckinsale stands out as a true heroine, accompanied by a solid supporting cast and does not disappoint.

We are treated to action sequences that let us see something of the hand of its director and between the CGI and the action sequences we have at least moments of vertigo and tension well achieved, something that is appreciated when we decide to see a film like the present one we are talking about.

I'm left with a correct bet, without great lights and little more than a weekend pastime, but for those who enjoy the genre or those looking for something simple, it is a bet that can leave them happy because ultimately the film meets to make you spend some time connected to the screen, then you end up satisfied or dissatisfied, will be flow of each viewer.
