Daredevil: Born Again (Serie) (2025)

Fortunately, the return of Daredevil has not disappointed. We find ourselves with a ‘superhero’ who, after a brutal event at the beginning of the series, finds himself disoriented and questions the role of vigilante that he had assumed in previous seasons.

The return to circulation of an old enemy, a criminal turned politician who, with his fascistic populism, reminds us very much of the current ‘leader of the free world’, will be directly related to the return to action of the blind lawyer turned ‘equaliser’.

But the return of Daredevil has little to do with those heroes of irresponsible actions and morals to which the Disney factory has accustomed us.

I think this series has a more brutal and shocking start than its predecessors, you can feel the difference in quality and budget that this project has, to be just a series, at least in the first episode, the image quality and the scenery itself, is brutal and far exceeds its predecessor, the first 15 minutes of the first chapter are spent with tension, action and despair and I think Marvel Studios has done a great job on this project.

With regard to the performances of the actors in this series, Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio stand out,

These two phenomena gobble up the camera, their presence and performance in some scenes is surprising to say the least. I hope that as the episodes go by and the season progresses, they will be able to excite us more and show us that there are still better moments to be seen in this work.

As for the script, I'm not going to say much until the season is over. I will simply point out that this new series is not, a priori, made for new viewers.

If you're not familiar with the previous characters, what happens in these first two episodes probably won't matter much.
