Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)

Although I'm a big fan of the Deadpool character, both in the movies and in the comics, I went into the film with very low expectations.
I'm one of those people who thinks Marvel has fallen from grace since Endgame, with Thor, Love and Thunder.
I left the series and haven't seen much since, I think the third Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy and that's about it.
But of course they're releasing a Deadpool movie, with Wolverine, and even good old Tom from Legacy... well, I go to the movies first, so to speak, and what did you find?

A very fun movie. Deadpool is still very entertaining and his chemistry with Wolverine is great. It's about 100 jokes, 90% of them made me laugh and at least 10% of them made me smile.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are exceptional. Pay attention to the cameos.
Lots of fast action, good direction and lots of slow motion, like the previous two.
Some beautiful sets, great scenery. And the music is also very good. But well, there's one thing I'm missing right now.
Where is the story of the throne, why are there so many jokes and so much action if there is no good story behind it all?
In the first part there were two credited authors, in the second part there were three, and now there are five, I don't know if it has something to do with the quality of the script.
But it's like Marvel came in and said, ‘Okay, we're going to take Deadpool and Wolverine and put them in situations that stand out either for the jokes or for the fight scenes.’
In the meantime, we moved from place to place so we didn't bore people visually, added a big dose of nostalgia, a few months of post-production and that was it. but it doesn't really have a plot, at least not a good one.
These are the things that happen. Interesting content but little plot.
