Don't Move (2024)

Directors Brian Netto and Adam Schindler tell the story of a grieving woman who is paralysed by a psychopathic serial killer. She must run, fight and hide before her body shuts down.
With these elements in their favour, the directors know how to intelligently manage the tension in a fairly entertaining thriller that is largely due to the credibility of its lead pair and the good use of script traps that play to the advantage of the proposal they deliver.
The film manages to have the substance of a minor film, but it has a lot of work behind it to make it all work in a more or less satisfactory way.

Its directors are smart when it comes to the presentation of their characters and also to make feasible the whole process of tension that of course the film and the script must contain to make it all work and they do that with a cunning that allows you to always stay hooked to what is happening, the challenge was not easy due to the fact that they had to focus an entire film on a protagonist whose movements are increasingly restricted at the best of times.
So we are left with an accomplished film that has its own little charm, with all its limitations in tow.
A well-made survival entertainment with its satisfying moments of tension and a couple of weaker moments, but at the end of its credits we are left with the feeling that we had a good time in front of the screen with a correct film that is worth giving a chance, without expecting great wonders, but a good time.
