I really enjoyed this romantic comedy starring Christina Milian and Devale Ellis and directed by Rusty Cundieff, which surprises a lot thanks to the extraordinary charisma of its leading couple and the details of humour it offers.
Despite being full of clichés and the typical Christmas spirit, the film is a lot of fun for those who enjoy the genre and the end of the year festivities.
The story takes us on a journey towards Christmas, where Layla searches for a ticket to the coveted Pentatonix Christmas concert, while living a love story with the man of her dreams.

With this premise, the director manages to construct a tender and entertaining romantic narrative that develops as we get to know the main couple and their on-screen chemistry.
This allows us to quickly become attached to them and feel a part of their budding relationship and the peculiar situations they face, making the experience a great pastime for the viewer.
While the film offers nothing groundbreaking, it is a well-directed and acted story, with an excellent soundtrack by the band Pentatonix, who also appear recurrently in the plot.
I acknowledge the director's effort to present a polished work, with really beautiful scenes and extraordinary cinematography that captures the Christmas feel and style of New York.
To kick off the Christmas movie season, Netflix offers us a pleasant and surprising option that fulfils its main purpose. With no pretensions of being more than what it is, it presents itself as an ideal weekend entertainment.
I expect nothing more than a pleasant time in front of the screen with the family, and the film achieves that with great satisfaction.
