The Idea of You (2024)

Despite the inevitable conflicts, The Idea of Own You still stands out thanks to the immense charisma emanating from the lead pair.

Anne Hathaway is wonderful as a sensitive divorced mother venturing into the unknown. A woman truly becomes American through captivating simplicity. She fills every frame.

She can't accept the fact that she can't hurt anyone. And Nikolai Golitsyn is also great. It's hard not to notice Hathaway's experience and naturalness, but British women are attractive, sensitive and seductive.

At the same time, it shows off your musical skills. Two vibrant and incredibly convincing performances, the result of a script that moves harmoniously along the lines of a romantic comedy.

At times funny and light. Always realistic, even almost two hours doesn't feel like a burden because the film knows what it wants.

All in all, The Idea of Own You is a very good romantic comedy. A very worthy adaptation of the novel of the same name. One of those unexpected romances between a divorced mother in her forties and the leader of a pop band in his twenties.

A novel that, through its originality and compassion, creates a beautiful, extremely believable and intelligent story.

With the truly charming and very comfortable Anne Hathaway, who shines in a role with more depth than you think. Alongside him was Nikolai Golitsyn, who bore the blow with great fortitude.

It's an example of romantic comedy done well and an excuse to have fun. Although this may be confusing for some people.
