An action movie that takes a while to get going. The main plot centers on the kidnapping of Cena's wife, but you have to wait half an hour for this to happen.
The “war” scenes are totally unnecessary and there was no need to show the whole heist.
The highlight of the film is its self-parodic humor which makes it more bearable. I even understand that Cena went on the sketch show MADtv to make fun of himself.

Despite that, the film is full of implausibilities, from explosions that never happen after three million shots, to ones that happen with only two bullets.
I also find it odd that the gas station cop's car is very similar to a rally car.
Another problem is that no blood is shown throughout the film, despite the constant gunfire and hits, until the last ten minutes.
The action choreography is good, even the ones in which Cena is not involved (although for my taste they are sparse). Robert Patrick's facial expressions are priceless, they are the best and most accurate of the film.
Cena's character is the prototypical perfect man: attractive, loyal and tough only with the villains. It's not a great movie, nor does it have a great script, but it will certainly satisfy Cena's fans.
The best: Kelly Carlson's character isn't dumb and doesn't whine all the time. And obviously, Robert Patrick.
The worst: It's only recommended for diehard fans of the genre and John Cena.
