Si estas interesado en ver unos dibujos animados al estilo Live Action, pues creo que el filme de Madame Web es la opción perfecta. 😑

🍿 Si les soy sincero desde que vi el trailer del filme me pareció que venia otra porquería de película, tal parecía que estaba a punto de ver una serie o un filme con poco presupuesto. Claro, quería verla porque hablamos de un filme que representa al Spideverse, pero efectivamente no llego a cumplir mis expectativas. Les dejo el enlace por si quieren echarle una ojeada.

La razón de mi desilusión

Verán no soy de aquellos de da muchos spoiler, así que seré lo mas breve posible de tal forma que puedas saborear la película tu mismo y quien sabe, quizás tengas una opinión diferente.

Desde un principio se hace alusión a un rumor de una tribu que se hace llamar ¨Las Arañas¨, gente con superpoderes que trepan arboles, tienen fuerza y reflejos sobre humanos, bla, bla, bla.
Normalmente te esperarías algo fuera de top con trajes geniales y personajes impresionantes, pero no fue el caso, veras un grupo de personas con un traje hecho de sogas y nada del otro mundo.

No se que sucedió con los efectos especiales que podrás ver desde una ambulancia que supuestamente va a mas de 120Km, haciendo maniobras de 20Km sin efecto de movimiento, hasta las explosiones por parte del pirotécnico en las diferentes escenas de la película.

De los personajes

El descubrimiento de los poderes por parte de la protagonista a manos de la actriz Dakota Johnson es bastante lento, en ocasiones con actitudes tontas para darse cuenta que luego de morir es que obtiene la habilidad para poder ver el futuro y cambiarlo. La misma habilidad la veras en todo el filme, solamente al final, cuando le toca la clásica paliza final por parte del malo, pues solo hace por alrededor de 20seg algo nuevo y de ahí puff, se queda ciega. 😶
Ahh, por cierto, anda en casi todo el filme con el mismo taxi robado y chocado. 😝

El malote
El malo llamado Ezekiel obtiene los poderes de la araña para volverse un millonario y cuando tiene una visión de que en algún momento, estas se volverán poderosas y lo van a matar, pues decide aniquilarlas sin ton ni son. Pues no se que paso aquí, pero para un tipo con superpoderes que se pega a las paredes coge bastante palo, tiene una muerte estúpida y no esperes a los clásicos personajes negativos que resaltan eh, la actuación es de muñes.

Las chicas arañas
Ni tiempo les voy a dedicar a estas chicas pues no hacen nada impresionante, son unas adolescentes que en la película nunca desarrollan ni una pizca de habilidades, y los supertrajes que veras en el trailer, es lo único que veras en toda la película, porque es lo que serán algún día. 🥴 Sino me equivoco los trajecitos salen solamente 3 veces.

Resumiendo

Esperaba más de un filme al que se le podría haber sacado más jugo, el guión fue una porquería, no logra engancharte con ninguno de los personajes, los efectos visuales son tan borrosos que es mejor echarte limón en los ojos y si te dan ganas de orinar no tienes que poner pausa porque no te pierdes nada del otro mundo.

If you are interested in watching Live Action style cartoons, I think the Madame Web film is the perfect option. 😑

🍿 If I'm honest, since I saw the trailer for the film it seemed to me that another rubbish movie was coming, it seemed like I was about to see a series or a film with a low budget. Of course, I wanted to see it because we're talking about a film that represents the Spideverse, but it didn't actually meet my expectations. I leave you the link in case you want to take a look.

The reason for my disappointment

You see, I'm not one to give a lot of spoilers, so I'll be as brief as possible so that you can savor the movie yourself and who knows, maybe you'll have a different opinion.

From the beginning, an allusion is made to a rumor of a tribe that calls itself "The Spiders", people with superpowers who climb trees, have strength and reflexes on humans, blah, blah, blah.
Normally you would expect something out of the ordinary with cool costumes and impressive characters, but that was not the case, you will see a group of people with a suit made of ropes and nothing out of this world.

I don't know what happened to the special effects that you can see, from an ambulance that supposedly goes more than 120 km, making 20 km maneuvers without a motion effect, to the explosions by the pyrotechnician in the different scenes of the film.

Of the characters

The discovery of powers by the protagonist at the hands of the actress Dakota Johnson is quite slow, sometimes with silly attitudes to realize that after dying is that you gain the ability to see the future and change it. You will see the same ability of hers throughout the film, only at the end, when she receives the classic final beating from the bad guy, because she only does something new for about 20 seconds and from there, puff, she goes blind. 😶
Ahh, by the way, she drives around in almost the entire film with the same stolen and crashed taxi. 😝

The bad guy
The bad guy named Ezekiel obtains the powers of the spider to become a millionaire and when he has a vision that at some point, they will become powerful and will kill him, he decides to annihilate them without rhyme or reason. Well, I don't know what happened here, but for a guy with superpowers who sticks to the walls, he takes a lot of stick, has a stupid death and don't wait for the classic negative characters that stand out, eh, the acting is amazing.

Spider Girls
I'm not going to dedicate any time to these girls because they don't do anything impressive, they are teenagers who in the movie never develop even a hint of skills, and the supersuits that you will see in the trailer are the only things you will see in the entire movie, because It's what they will be one day. 🥴 If I'm wrong, the outfits only come out 3 times.

Summarizing

I expected more from a film that could have had more juice, the script was rubbish, it doesn't manage to hook you with any of the characters, the visual effects are so blurry that it's better to pour lemon in your eyes and if it makes you want to urinating you don't have to pause because you don't miss anything from the other world.
