Jason Bourne Film Review - Tricked into becoming a CIA Assassin Agent

Actually, I was a little surprised by some of the western films that I watched, especially Hollywood films, in every film they showed the badness of the CIA, which is America's great intelligence agency. Even though the film itself was made by Universal Studios which is based in America, is this just American hegemony or just mere entertainment?

Regardless of whether it's true or not, I really really enjoyed an exciting film entitled Jason Bourne with a synopsis that tells the story of a young former CIA agent who wants to find out who he really is and who is really the mastermind behind his father's death.

This film, directed by Paull Greengrass, stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne and Alicia Vikander as Heater Lee who are the main characters in this great film. On the IMDB site this film has a rating of 6.6, and has a duration of 123 minutes or 2:03: 09.

This film tells the story of a young man named Jason Bourne who is very frustrated after he finds out that his father died in a car accident. According to the information he received, his father died because he was killed by terrorists because during the accident his father's car was blown up by an unknown person.

Jason even entered the CIA organization to reveal who actually killed his father. This film shows the cunning of top officials and members of the CIA who continue to hunt Jason so that he doesn't know what really happened.

Initially, Jason had joined a CIA organization that served as an executioner or assassin division in completing every dangerous mission issued by the CIA.

However, Jason himself chose to betray after he found out that the CIA was not a good intelligence organization, after learning a lot of information about his father's death from a friend of his wife named Nicky Persons.

Nicky Person himself was Jason's former teammate when they were still in the CIA. After receiving information about his father's death from Nicky, Jason became increasingly convinced that his father's death was a conspiracy created by a certain organization.

The scene in this film that really moved me was when Nicky was killed by a CIA member named Asset, Nicky was killed because the CIA knew that he had revealed the secret about Jason's father's death to Jason.

After seeing the file from the flash disk that Nicky gave him, Jason immediately went to a location in London to meet with Malcolm Smith. Malcolm Smith is the person who inputs the data for every new child who enters the CIA organization.

Now Jason didn't do it alone, he was helped by Heater, who is a great woman who still works in the CIA organization. The reason he wanted to help Jason was because he also wanted to know what was really going on within the CIA.

In another scene, a CIA Director named Robert is shown having a meeting with Aron. Aron himself is the CEO of a technology company that has just released a new application that is very secure and no one can hack the data of its customers.

The reason Robert met Aron was to invite him to work together so that the CIA could input all the data from users of the application. Aron, who felt aggrieved, decided to reject this cooperation agreement.

On the other hand, now Jason has managed to meet Malcolm Smith, and a very surprising fact is revealed to Jason that it was actually a member of the CIA who they called Aasset who killed Jason's father, who was the same person who killed Nicky.

The reason the CIA deliberately killed Jason's father was because the CIA wanted Jason to join the CIA organization because of his martial arts skills and intelligence, but Jason did not want to join the CIA organization because his father prohibited it.

The CIA deliberately made Jason's father's death seem like he was killed by a terrorist so that Jason would join the CIA so that he could take revenge on the terrorist who killed his father.

After learning this information, it wasn't long before the Asset arrived there to kill Jason, and unfortunately it was Malcolm Smith who was killed in that scene.

Now the target that Jason wants to kill to avenge himself is Robert, the CIA director and also Asset. On the night of the launch event for the application published by Aron's company, Robert ordered CIA members to kill Aron because he did not want to cooperate with the CIA.

Meanwhile, Robert, Asset and Heater were also invited guests on the night of the application launch in a building. Aron was shot after being attacked by a CIA agent disguised as an invited guest. In the chaos, Heater, who already knew everything about the CIA's evils, did not remain silent and immediately killed Robert with his gun.

Seeing this incident, Jason took the gun from Heater so that Heater would not be seen as the person who killed Robert, and that night Jason also killed Asset after a big fight.

At the end of the film, it is shown that Heater volunteered to become the new CIA Director to replace Robert, and Aron also survived after suffering a gunshot wound to his hand on the night of the application's inauguration.

From the film above, we can briefly conclude how rotten the CIA organization is, they are willing to carry out any hegemony for their own interests.

This is an exciting film that we can watch with family and friends, but we also have to be smart in assessing every action shown in this film.

Maybe stories like this that reveal the evils of an Intelligence Agent Organization do exist in the real world, but we will never know what really happened and what their true intentions were in committing this "crime".

Conclusion

Remember, evil always loses to good, as in the film above, Robert the CIA Director, who was so evil that he was willing to kill other people for his own interests, was finally killed by his own subordinates and his leadership was lost in the blink of an eye.

Likewise, Asset, who was willing to be enslaved to kill innocent people, ultimately died because of the karma he had done in the past. Life is only short and the world keeps turning, keep doing every good thing and change it to make our lives better.

Be wise when watching films because most of the storylines shown are just fiction to keep you and me entertained.

For me, Jason Bourne is a very exciting film with great acting from all the actors, especially Matt Damon who is the main actor in this film.
