Movie Review - The Gangster The Cop The Devil 2019

Ma Dong-Seok is a great actor from South Korea who is my favorite to date, I have watched almost all the films he has acted in, one of the films I have just watched is The Gangster The Cop The Devil.

The synopsis of this film, which was released in 2019, tells the story of the collaboration between Korean Gangsters and the Police to uncover and arrest a sadistic psychopath who has killed many innocent lives and destroyed the reputation of a Gangster Boss.

The context of this film shows the cooperation between a police officer and a gangster boss, but they each have their own vision and mission to hunt down the psychopath. Even though they have to work together, on the other hand they also have to compete with each other to realize their respective goals in hunting down the psychopath.

At the beginning of the film we are shown the sadism of a psychopath who kills his prey using various methods to lure his prey. What makes the film look even more tense is because the psychopath is always shown killing using a knife which makes the victim feel very tormented.

At first glance, this film doesn't seem to have too many action thriller scenes because it is combined with several comedy thriller scenes involving the brutal behavior of the main actor, Ma Dong-Seok.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why many people, including me, like Actor Ma Dong-Seok, because apart from being a brutal character, his actions in every film are also combined with his funny behavior.

Moreover, if you look at the main actor's body shape, which looks dashing, this makes his comedy acting more striking because it doesn't match his body posture.

In this film, it is also shown how a gangster actually works, for them reputation is very important, even gangsters are willing to kill each other to restore their reputation to the highest point.

This film has a smooth forward plot and does not have a complicated backward plot so that it will be easier for all viewers to digest the story of this film.

My opinion about this film is very good, from a personal point of view I want to give a rating of 9 to this film. Not without reason, throughout the film the plot twists shown in this film are very epic, many unexpected things are continuously shown in every scene which makes the audience never stop being curious.

The choice of location in the film also fits perfectly with the main narrative of this film, we will be shown the atmosphere of a Korean city which looks like areas controlled by gangsters.

Such as small restaurants, shabby neighborhoods, warehouses and bars which are synonymous with the nests of people doing business in the underworld.

Then what made me even crazier about this film was when I saw the acting on the psychopath's facial expression which would make us annoyed throughout the film.

Likewise, Gangster Boss Ma Dong-Seok's sullen face always looks serious and looks like a person who never feels guilty, which makes him look even more like a very brutal, cold-blooded person.

The sound tone in each scene of the film is also very good, especially the sound of Ma Dong-Seok's punches which looks very thrilling when punching his enemy, as well as the stabbing sound of the psychopath's knife and the sound of splashing blood which makes this film even more terrifying.

And I'm sure, for those of you who like films in which Ma Dong-Seok plays, you will always be waiting for him to show off his epic boxing actions in the film. In this film we will be stunned by the various great actions of the actor. main actor

Director Lee Won-tae really designed this film very carefully through the several great actors he chose to play in this film, they all really deepened each character they played, making them look very suitable for the characters they played.

And the great actors who play this film are Ma Dong-Seok, Kim Mu-yeol, Kim Sung-kyu, Heo Dong-won and several other great actors.

Due to the good collaboration between the director and actors of this film, this film received a rating of 6.9 from the IMDB site.

The conclusion I got from watching this film is never trust anyone, especially strangers we meet on the street, even though they look good and want to help us or ask for help from us, they could be psychopaths or robbers who will make we are its prey in various ways.

Because in the area where I live, there are a lot of people who are robbed or robbed on the street because they fall for the tricks (capital lies) of people they don't know on the street so that people who help them can get hurt because they are robbed.

This is something you have to be careful of, even after watching this film I always remind the people closest to me to continue to be alert when outside the house so that they can be safe from bad people.
