Las novelas producidas en Turquía han ganado gran popularidad dentro de los públicos cubanos en los últimos años, a pesar de la aparente distancia cultural que pueda separar a los dos países. Los residentes en la isla caribeña, son unos de los más recientes adeptos a estas producciones dramatizadas, que se han colado en el mundo hispano, ganando un gran número de fanáticos.

Aunque el consumo en Cuba de las novelas turcas, primero comenzó a través del paquete semanal, ya su disfrute se ha extendido a la televisión nacional, y no solo de las novelas oriundas de este país, sino también de las series. “Marasli”, la serie y “Una parte de mí” la telenovela, son dos audiovisuales que demuestran que este tipo de producto no solo resultan del agrado del público cubano, sino que se comienza a ver un desarrollo de verdaderos grupos de fanáticos de sus actores y sus vidas fuera de las pantallas televisivas.
