🎬️ Movie: It Comes at Night from 2017 🎬️

Time for another movie, this is a psychological horror movie directed by Trey Edward Shults from 2017. Came across it by chance, seemed interesting so lets go.😃

The film is about a family that must protect itself from an unknown deadly threat that has hit the world. They live in a remote cabin in peace until a stranger appears, eventually they become 2 families, and new challenges arise. Joel Edgerton stars as the father Paul who is willing to do anything to protect his family. Carmen Ejogo and Kelvin Harrison Jr. also delivers strong performances as his wife and son, and I thought Carmen was the best. Here the nerves are challenged while the film's tension builds, themes such as human fear and survival instinct are explored in a minimalist approach with a claustrophobic and eerie atmosphere. If you like a psychological thriller every now and then, this is worth watching. I give this a 7.
