🎬️ Movie: Tau from 2018 🎬️

I've seen it once before, but from what I remember I liked it. Wanted to see something sci fi so why not. This is a sfi fi thriller from 2018 and directed by Federico D'Alessandro.😃

The film is about a woman Julia, played by Maika Monroe, who is kidnapped by a rich inventor named Alex, played by Ed Skrein. We follow her story and the challenges she faces as she tries to survive and escape as a prisoner in a futuristic house controlled by the AI ​​Tau. Here, themes around artificial intelligence, self-awareness and captivity are explored. I really liked the visuals even if it's only in a house, and the acting performances are solid. The script and the plot can be a bit predictable and lack originality but have some exciting moments but didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. Quite ok for a sci fi thriller so it doesn't get 7 as I remembered it. Worth watching if you like the genre so its a strong 6.
