Stuck in the Middle - Polygamy Illustrated

I don't watch a lot of movies, but whenever I see a good one, I sleep on it. That was how the movie of a popular skit maker in Nigeria piqued my interest. The person in question is Rex (other times known as Nosa, or Babarex).
He is a comedian with a very and highly controversial theme for his jokes and skits, but regardless he has won himself a very large audience, and maybe, he's playing to the tone most people dances to.
When I said a very controversial theme, I am referring to the sexual nature of literally all his jokes, there is always a trace or two of sexual themes or the entire content would be entirely sexually themed. In a world of sex and money, it is not hard to see how he has grown to fame in the past few years.
Regardless, before his fame in the YouTube and social media skit industry, Rex has been a very popular Nollywood actor (Nollywood is the Nigerian movie industry just as Hollywood and Bollywood is used to refer to the American and Indian movie industry respectively).
With a solid repute as an actor, and his recently developed humorous character, I was motivated to take an attentive look at his new (recent) movie entitled:
Stuck in the Middle
Funny enough, the title tells a lot about the movie, especially when you consider it in conjunction with the video thumbnail image. Here is the link to the video if you don't mind:

What the Movie is About!
Without sweating much on tiny details, the movie is about a grown man (Nosa Rex), physically ready/due for marriage, and already engaged to a girl in the city, but on visiting the village to see his mom and supposedly, supervise a project of his, a girl caught his attention, a sight he never expect to behold in a village setting, she was quite attractive, so as a "carnal man" (Lol!) (or more rightly, natural man), he made moves, and he won the heart of the girl in the village.
The girl in the village has come to love him so much that she has become very fond of him (of course he's rich, funny, soft and approachable, so what's there not to like? 🤣).
Eventually, Rex has to go back to the city to continue work, and meet with his already complaining fiancee that is saying he's took too long. So, he eventually left for the city, with the village girl left behind, now heading for the city.
You see how the trouble is brewing. Humans are naturally possessive, and on leaving for the city, he reassured the girl being left behind of his love and loyalty, so with that assurance, after waiting a couple of weeks turn months, she on contact with Rex's mum, was helped to locate Rex in the city, and with a pregnancy claim, she know she'd already established a stronghold for herself.
So, the drama began, with Rex "Stuck in the Middle". You know what it feels like when two people drag over a thing, so it was with the movie. Rex was stuck in the middle of two women, one dark in complexion, and the other light skinned, one from the Igbo extraction of Nigeria, while the other from the Yoruba extraction of Nigeria - it was like the best of both world.
So, while the uneven union was stressful to Rex, according to him, he would love to keep them both, and this desire was the source of an unending conflict in the house.
It seems to be a good and entertaining watch, I recommend it.
I think I would have to drop my pen for now. Regardless, the movie here was a good watch to me, just like another by another Nigerian skit maker - Accidental King - by Brain Jotter was. I think skit makers are gearing up to become the next generation of Nollywood movie makers, and it is a welcomed development.
I love to be entertained and enjoy a good laugh, that's why I have been stuck in the middle of movies produced by comedians 🤣!
This must be a funny movie starting from the fact that Brainjotter has a hand in this movie
It sure has a good synopsis too... I'll certainly watch it... Thanks for dropping the link
