Nigerian movie Review: Wife for Christmas
I came across this Nollywood movie and honestly it caught my attention, am sure as you follow my write-up you will be motivated to watch the YouTube link am going to drop.
Firstly to enjoy this movie i made a plate of Jellof spaghetti and got a bottle of veleta wine 🍷 and that made me enjoy the movie more.

The people that featured in this movie where Nollywood actors and actresses known as Chris okagbue, Kenneth Nwadike, Sarian Martins, Becky Patrick and Michael Dappa.
This guy named Nonso was rich and he had a house help that came from the village, at first he dislikes the girl because she didn't know how to speak good English but with time everything changed.
He barely talks to any woman outside but he can speak to the maid named Eka anyhow he likes, at some point he was thinking if he was normal.
Nonso came out of a polygamous family and he never like his brother from the other woman, they both always had issues but his own mother loved the both of them and took them as her son.
It was Christmas and their father was late, before his death he wrote a will and their mother insisted that the will will only be read if both of them come home with their wives to be.
Now Nonso have not been able to convince any woman to be his girlfriend not to talk of fiance so what will he do, he kept trying but to know avail, at some point he got tired of searching.

At some point his friend has to help him talk to a lady he was interested on but he also disappointed himself at the middle of the relationship 😭 and that was sooo bad.
One day this maid was busy dancing while cleaning up the kitchen and Nonso came in and caught site of her beautiful body shape, that was the first attraction because the maid has a very attractive body shape that men dream off, But Nonso wants an educated woman.
He kept thinking about what to do, Christmas is here, whom will he present to his mom as a wife to be, after all thought he came to realize that he has just one option which is taking his house maid along and pretending that she's his fiancee.
Thats funny right?
Now how will he do it, remember he came from a rich and educated family but his maid cant even make a complete sentence in good English, since that was his last option he decided to tutor her on some basic English like greetings and few other necessary questions.
He took her to a shop and got her some good clothes, he also brought a makeup artist who changed her village look to a township babe, he now saw the beauty in her, at first he wasn't convinced that hes falling in love 💕 with her, he kept deceiving himself but time will tell.
He actually told her that it was a contract that will last for eight days and he will pay her some, so she was just to act like his fiancee for eight days in the mothers house and after that she goes back to her maid position.
That was fine with her, so there in the mother's house he tried all he can to protect and prevent the mother from knowing that she wasn't educated like the family as he struggled to prevent that he found himself falling in deep love with the maid.
One day he had misunderstanding with his brother and everything got exposed, the maid thought he will get angry but he didn't rather he apologized to her and she was surprised.
Gradually he professed love to her and she too fail in love with him, he never knew that this temid and illiterate maid will turn to be the love of his life and the woman he will be spending the rest of his life with.
Wife for Christmas became wife forever.
