Hello my dear friends of HIVE, a big greeting and happy beginning of the week; I recently saw the movie "La Madre ", with Jennifer Lopez, to be honest, there are very few movies that I like of her, but I liked this one, first production that I see where she plays a role different from the ones I have seen, which are mostly romance, drama and comedy; I was surprised to see her in more action, being rough and not letting her emotions show, it was a strong bet for her, but I feel she did it well.

What the film is about and my opinion about it.

    The story is based on a woman played by "JLO", who after belonging to the army, being an expert sniper, is involved in arms trafficking, for reasons that as you go watching the movie you will see, it will also be shown why she betrays the traffickers, which would be the starting point of the film, where we see JLO pregnant with the FBI; after being attacked in full negotiation by one of the men to whom she worked, she manages to save herself, then we see her giving birth and being separated from her daughter for safety, so that the girl has a better life, which she accepts with much pain, but knowing that it is for the best.

    After 12 years, JLO is located by the FBI, who warn her of the possibility that the girl has already been identified by the arms dealers, so she returns to be the one who remotely takes care of her own daughter, despite having a lot of experience, even so the crooks manage to take the girl, from here it triggers a series of strong events, with moments of action, a bit of drama and complicated situations; It could be said to be somewhat predictable, but interesting, because we see a mother letting herself be carried away by her maternal instincts together with her desire to do justice in her own way, just to protect her daughter.

    We also see a mother and daughter relationship that is built from nothing, JLO always showing herself as a woman without heart, without feelings towards her daughter, but it is only a facade, because inside she loved her so much that besides protecting her, she left her in the care of good people, since she would not have a normal life; as the days go by being together, JLO, shows her with deeds and not with words her love for her, teaching her certain things so that when she is not there, she can take care of herself.

    Seeing JLO in this type of movie, which are almost always starring men, can create divided opinions, because we are going through a stage that I feel that rather than watching a movie to enjoy it, we only watch it to look for the minimum to criticize it, what if for forced content regarding inclusion, female empowerment and so on, I remember that before if we did not like a movie, we simply did not watch it and passed the channel 😄.

    Personally I liked the movie, I thought JLO's performance was good, I also liked to see several Latino actors, such as Gael García Bernal, Lucy Paez, among others; I don't know if it's because I already want to be a mother, but the character of Zoe played by "Lucy Paez", JLO's daughter in the story, I thought she was tender, I loved her performance, she transmitted many emotions; I think every mother could connect with this production, because leaving aside the action and the tough side of JLO, we see that real feeling of what a real mother who loves her children would do to protect and care for them at any cost, of course each in their own way, but with the same result in the end that is driven by that infinite love.

Without more to tell you, I hope you give this movie a chance, I recommend it, it has potential, let yourself be carried away by what it can transmit, I say goodbye my friends, you are loved.

    Hola mis queridos amigos de HIVE, un gran saludo y feliz comienzo de semana; hace muy poco vi la película “La Madre”, con Jennifer López, para ser sincera, son muy pocas las películas que me gustan de ella, pero esta si me gusto, primera producción que veo donde hace una papel distinto a los que he visto, que son más que todo romance, drama y comedia; me sorprendió verla en más acción, siendo ruda y sin dejar ver sus emociones, fue una apuesta fuerte para ella, pero siento que lo hizo bien.

De qué trata la película y mi opinión sobre ella.

    La historia se base en una mujer interpretada por “JLO”, quien luego de pertenecer al ejército, siendo una experta francotirador, se ve involucrada en tráficos de armas, por razones a qué medida que vayan viendo la película verán, también se mostrara por qué traiciona a los traficantes, que este sería el punto inicial de la película, donde vemos a JLO embarazada junto al FBI; luego de ser atacada en plena negociación por uno de los hombre a quien ella le trabajaba, logra salvarse, luego la vemos dando a luz y siendo separada de su hija por seguridad, para que la niña tenga una vida mejor, a lo cual ella acepta con mucho dolor, pero sabiendo que es lo mejor.

    Pasan 12 años, JLO es ubicada por el FBI, quienes le dan aviso de hay posibilidades de que la niña ya haya sido identificada por los traficantes de armas, a lo que ella regresa para ser quien a distancia cuide de su propia hija, a pesar de tener mucha experiencia, aun así los maleantes logran llevarse a la niña, desde aquí se desencadena una serie de eventos fuertes, con momentos de acción, un poco de drama y situaciones complicada; podría decirse algo predecibles, pero interesantes, porque vemos a una Madre dejándose llevar por sus instintos maternales unidos con sus ganas de hacer justicia a su manera, solo para proteger a su hija.

    También vemos una relación madre e hija que se va construyendo de la nada, JLO siempre mostrándose como una mujer sin corazón, sin sentimientos hacia su hija, pero solo es fachada, ya que por dentro la amaba tanto que además de protegerla, la dejo al cuidado de buenas personas , ya que con ello no tendría una vida normal; a medida que transcurren los días estando juntas, JLO, le demuestra con hechos y no con palabras su amor por ella, enseñándole ciertas cosas para que cuando ella no este, se pueda cuidar sola.

    Ver a JLO en esta tipo de película, que son casi siempre protagonizadas por hombres, puede crear opiniones divididas, porque estamos pasando por una etapa que siento que más que ver una película para disfrutar de ella, solo la vemos para buscarle lo mínimo para criticarla, que si por contenido forzado respecto a la inclusión, empoderamiento femenino y demás, recuerdo que antes si no nos gustaba una película, simplemente no la veíamos y pasábamos el canal 😄.

    En lo personal me gusto película, me pareció bien la actuación de JLO, también me gusto ver varios actores latinos, como Gael García Bernal, Lucy Paez, entre otros; no sé si es porque ya quiero ser madre, que el personaje de Zoe interpretado por "Lucy paez", hija de JLO en la historia, me pareció una ternura, me encanto su interpretación, me transmitió muchas emociones; creo que toda madre podría conectar con esta producción, ya que dejando a un lado la acción y ese lado rudo de JLO, vemos ese sentimiento real de lo que una verdadera madre que ama a sus hijos haría para protegerlos y cuidarlos a cualquier costo, por supuesto cada una a su manera, pero con un mismo resultado al final que es encaminado por ese amor infinito.

Sin más que decirles, espero que le den una oportunidad a esta película, la recomiendo, tiene potencial, déjense llevar por lo que les pueda transmitir, me despido mis amigos, se les quiere.
