En esta oportunidad les daré mi opinión sobre el film Orion y la Oscuridad. Ya saben, por lo general no hago spoiler. Me gusta más exponer mi punto de vista.

Comenzaré por el final de esta historia. Con quienes he hablado coincidimos en que se le da a la cinta varios giros extraños e inesperados. Al final resulta no ser una historia lineal como creímos al inicio.

Esto hace que se produzcan confusiones ya que entre los giros de la trama Orión no es un niño sino un adulto y en otro giro no es adulto sino un anciano. 😁

In this opportunity I will give you my opinion about the film Orion and the Darkness. You know, I usually don't do spoilers. I like to expose my point of view.

I will start with the ending of this story. Those I have talked to agree that the film is given several strange and unexpected twists and turns. In the end it turns out not to be a linear story as we thought at the beginning.

This makes for confusion as between plot twists Orion is not a child but an adult and in another twist he is not an adult but an old man. 😁

Cuando de pronto vemos estos cambios quedamos decepcionados. Quizá, la familiaridad con Orión niño es la que más genera resistencia.

¿Quedan algunos vacíos con la película? Sí, por supuesto. No queda clara la intención del director al incorporar al personaje que representa a la hija de Orión y ambos tratan de solucionar un problema siendo niños. Es decir padre e hija en la misma etapa de la niñez. Para mí no tuvo sentido.

Ahora bien, si les digo la verdad a mí me encantó la historia de la película. Sólo estos detalles se salieron del plano general. Les aseguro que con gusto volvería a verla y posiblemente lograría entender la última parte.

When we suddenly see these changes we are disappointed. Perhaps, it is the familiarity with Orion as a child that generates the most resistance.

Are there any gaps left with the film? Yes, of course there are. It is not clear the director's intention to incorporate the character representing Orion's daughter and both try to solve a problem as children. That is to say father and daughter in the same stage of childhood. It didn't make sense to me.

Now, to tell you the truth I loved the story of the movie. It was only these details that took away from the big picture. I assure you that I would gladly watch it again and possibly understand the last part.

No todo resulta ser malo...

En Orión y la Oscuridad se dan a conocer muchas cosas que en la vida real obviamos o desconocemos. Por ende, se nos da a todos una muy buena lección.

Orion es un niño que reconoce sus miedos (le teme a todo) pero entre sus peores temores está el miedo a la oscuridad. La oscuridad es el personaje principal y lo representan como un monstruo gigante y negro. Pienso que hubo acierto con la figura principal porque es en forma y tamaño lo que expresa el niño con respecto a su gran temor.

¿Qué me resultó bien interesante? La revelación de oscuridad. Ciertamente ella existe pero no está sola sino acompañada de otros elementos como el sueño, insomnio, el silencio, ruidos extraños y también dulce sueño.

In Orion and the Darkness many things are made known that in real life we ignore or are unaware of. Therefore, it teaches us all a very good lesson.

Orion is a child who recognizes his fears (he is afraid of everything) but among his worst fears is the fear of darkness. Darkness is the main character and he is portrayed as a giant black monster. I think the main figure was the right one because it is in shape and size what the child expresses with respect to his great fear.

What was interesting to me? The revelation of darkness. Certainly it exists but it is not alone but accompanied by other elements such as sleep, insomnia, silence, strange noises and also sweet sleep.

Cada elemento es un personaje dentro de la película. Cada uno cumple una función en medio de la oscuridad. Todos conforman un equipo y por ende, todos son importantes. El silencio en medio oscuridad produce miedo. El insomnio en medio de la oscuridad activa sentimientos y emociones que generan miedos al igual que ruidos extraños. El sueño o Dulce sueño en la oscuridad producen placeres, es decir, no todo es malo.

Muchos no nos percatamos de esta realidad y es por esa razón por la cual le doy créditos a la película. Porque hay verdades reveladoras que invitan a reflexionar.

¿Es una película para niños? No, no lo creo. Está diseñada para un público más adulto. Le doy 6 de 10 a Orión y la Oscuridad. Me gustó mucho y en cuanto pueda la veo de nuevo a pesar de... 😁 sus fallas finales.

Each element is a character in the film. Each one fulfills a function in the midst of darkness. They all form a team and therefore, they are all important. Silence in the midst of darkness produces fear. Insomnia in the midst of darkness activates feelings and emotions that generate fears as well as strange noises. Sleep or sweet sleep in the dark produces pleasures, i.e., not everything is bad.

Many of us are not aware of this reality and it is for this reason that I give credit to the film. Because there are revealing truths that invite reflection.

Is it a children's film? No, I don't think so. It is designed for a more adult audience. I give Orion and the Darkness 6 out of 10. I liked it a lot and as soon as I can I'll watch it again despite.... 😁 its final flaws.
