Hello my dear friends of Movies & TV Shows, I'm glad to be here again, this time to share with you an extremely intriguing film from the Netherlands.

It's about two friends who are married and have a certain complicity when it comes to having some slips from time to time, as they cover for each other to take a vacation from their husbands and their daily lives. While this might sound like a comedy, the film has nothing to do with laughter, quite the opposite. It is a well-made thriller that takes an unexpected turn at the last minute.

It turns out that apparently the two friends go away together for a few days and tell their husbands that they will be at the house of one of them, but it is not so, since Bodil stays that weekend in a house he has in the suburbs, while Isabel apparently goes to party with someone who is not given to know.

Hola mis queridos amigos de Movies & TV Shows, me alegra estar otra vez por aquí, esta vez para compartir con ustedes una película de Países Bajos extremadamente intrigante.

Se trata de dos amigas que están casadas y que tienen cierta complicidad en lo que respecta a tener algunos deslices de vez en cuando, ya que se cubren entre ellas para tomarse unas vacaciones de sus maridos y de su vida cotidiana. Aunque esto podría sonar a comedia, la película no tiene nada que ver con las carcajadas, sino todo lo contrario. Se trata de un thriller muy bien hecho que a último momento da un giro inesperado.

Resulta que en apariencia las dos amigas se van juntas unos días y les comentan a sus maridos que estarán en la casa de una de ellas, pero no es tan así, ya que Bodil se queda ese fin de semana en una casa que tiene en las afueras, mientras Isabel se va en apariencia de fiesta con alguien que no se da a conocer.

The theme is that Bodil has an affair, but when he returns home, he sees blood on the driveway, indicating that a murder had been committed there, which he clearly concludes that it is his friend who has been attacked, as she was the only one there.

The issue is that the police begin to investigate and a whole situation of lies, deception, espionage and persecution begins to take place in a context of chaos and concern where they are looking for Isabel's murderer, although they do not manage to find the body.

To continue talking about the plot is to ruin the story, but I will tell you that Bodil's sister is very involved, the husbands of each of the friends play a fundamental role, especially Isabel's, and Isabel was not the point to attack, but Bodil.

At the end of the film, the truth comes out and leaves you quite surprised.

El tema es que Bodil tiene una aventura, pero cuando regresa a su casa, ve sangre en la entrada, lo que indica que allí se había cometido un asesinato, el cual claramente concluye que es su amiga quien ha sido atacada, ya que era la única que estaba allí.

La cuestión es que la policía empieza a investigar y toda una situación de mentiras, engaños, espionaje y persecuciones empiezan a tener lugar en un contexto de caos y preocupación en donde están buscando al asesino de Isabel, aunque no logren encontrar el cuerpo.

Seguir hablando sobre la trama, ya es arruinarles la historia, pero les diré que la hermana de Bodil está muy involucrada, los maridos de cada una de las amigas juegan un rol fundamental, en especial el de Isabel, y no era Isabel el punto a atacar, sino Bodil.

Al finalizar la película, la verdad sale a la luz y te deja bastante sorprendido.

Well, once again a Northern European production has captivated my attention. I loved it. I really liked the naturalness with which certain topics are approached, that it is really so spontaneous how they are treated. That you can see the difference in the mentality of the Dutch society compared to the Latin American mentality in general.

I was also fascinated with the twist they give to the story and the complexity of the story. While it takes your mind to a place, the reality is totally different and you do not even imagine it, but it is not something incoherent, but totally viable, it happens that they make you put the focus on another place, which then also has its correlation with the story, but it is not precisely the determining factor.

This is a great lesson for real life, because it shows how when you want to think about something, you simply make everything point towards that object of thought, and let the thousands of possibilities that surround it escape.

Bueno, una vez más una producción del norte europeo ha cautivado mi atención. Me encantó. Me gustó mucho la naturalidad con la que se abordan ciertos temas, que en verdad es tan espontáneo cómo se tratan. Que se puede ver la diferencia en la mentalidad de la sociedad holandesa en comparación con la mentalidad latinoamericana en general.

Además quedé fascinada con el giro que le dan a la historia y con la complejidad de la misma. Mientras te lleva la mente hacia un lugar, la realidad es una totalmente diferente y ni siquiera te la imaginas, pero no es algo incoherente, sino totalmente viable, pasa que te hacen poner el foco en otro lugar, que después también va teniendo su correlación con la historia, pero no es precisamente lo determinante.

Esa es una gran enseñanza para la vida real, porque pone de manifiesto cómo cuando uno quiere pensar en una cosa, sencillamente hace que todo apunte hacia ese objeto de pensamiento, y deja escapar las miles de posibilidades que hay alrededor.

The film talks about bad and good values, but it is very realistic. It normalizes issues such as infidelity, which is not such a good thing, but at the same time it also shows a relaxed and accepting perspective.

It also allows us to see how a lie for pleasure can lead to catastrophic consequences, and simultaneously shows how jealousy can lead a person to act in a premeditated way for the worst of acts.

There is quite a lot to analyze here and I believe that these are themes that each person, according to his or her history, can come to him or her in different ways.

La película habla de valores malos y buenos, pero es muy realista. Com que se normalizan cuestiones como la infidelidad, que no es algo tan bueno, pero al mismo tiempo también se muestra una perspectiva relajada y de aceptación.

También nos permite ver cómo una mentira por placer puede conducir a consecuencias catastróficas, y simultáneamente se muestra cómo los celos pueden llevar a una persona a actuar de manera premeditada para el peor de los actos.

Hay bastante que analizar aquí y creo que son temas que a cada persona de acuerdo a su historia, pueden llegarle de maneras diferentes.

I recommend it because in addition to everything I told you, it is really catching, it is not boring at all and as it is constantly bringing new information to the viewer and the characters themselves, it keeps you attentive to know what is going on.

It does have scenes that are a bit over the top sexual and violent, so I wouldn't watch it with children and if there are teenagers around, I would try to accompany them if they see it.

If there is something I value a lot about this production is that you can't miss 15 minutes, because you will end up not understanding what is going on, I think this is a quality that many movies and series have left aside lately.

La recomiendo porque además de todo lo que les comenté, es realmente atrapante, no se hace aburrida en absoluto y como está constantemente aportando nueva información al espectador y a los mismos personajes, te mantiene atenta para saber qué es lo que está pasando.

Sí tiene escenas un poco subidas de tono en lo sexual y violento, por lo que no la vería con niños y si hay adolescentes cerca, intentaría acompañarlos en caso de que la vean.

Si hay algo que valoro mucho de esta producción es que no puedes perderte 15 minutos, porque vas a terminar por no entender qué es lo que está pasando, creo que esta es una cualidad que muchas películas y series han dejado de lado últimamente.
