Make way for the cutest and sweetest film from Ghibli Studios! I'm going to be honest with you, I died of tenderness throughout. I know it's not exactly a recent movie, but I've always wanted to see it for a long time, but because I was doing work stuff I hadn't been able to, until yesterday, and I'm really glad I got to see it.
¡Abran paso a la película más tierna y dulce de los Estudios Ghibli! Voy a ser honesta con ustedes, morí de ternura en todo momento. Sé que no es una película precisamente reciente, pero desde hace tiempo siempre quería verla, pero por estar haciendo cosas del trabajo no había podido, hasta ayer, y de verdad que me alegro mucho de haberla visto.
Ponyo is a little fish that her father has kept by force, somehow escapes and gets into the hands of Sosuke, a super cute little boy who decides to protect her even though he is very small and can do little, but Ponyo undergoes an extraordinary transformation that turns her into a human, so both children can share adventures, especially to rescue people from the fury of the sea.
Ponyo es una pecesita a quien su padre tiene retenida por la fuerza, de alguna manera se escapa y llega a manos de Sosuke, un niñito super tierno que decide protegerla a pesar de que él es muy pequeño y poco puede hacer, pero Ponyo sufre una extraordinaria transformación que la convierte en humana, por lo tanto ambos niños podrán compartir aventuras, sobre todo rescatar pueblo de la furia del mar.
One of the things that caused me the most tenderness were the tender voices of the characters Ponyo and Sosuke 😍 they were too cute, on the other hand the story is simple but keeps many wonderful messages, such as love in its purest essence, a childish and innocent love, and also the value of nature, especially the sea, from which many resources are obtained for daily life, In fact I was struck by the fact that they included in such a graphic way the theme of environmental pollution, in fact it was precisely a glass jar (garbage) in which Ponyo gets trapped before reaching Sosuke's hands, but I think this idea is very successful, because it is a good way to raise awareness among children to respect, value and protect the sea, among other natural resources.
Una de las cosas que más me causó ternura fueron las tiernas voces de los personajes Ponyo y Sosuke 😍 eran demasiado lindos, por otra parte la historia es sencilla pero guarda muchos mensajes maravillosos, como el amor en su más pura esencia, un amor infantil e inocente, y también el valor que tiene la naturaleza, en especial el mar, del cual se obtienen muchos recursos para la vida diaria, de hecho me llamó la atención que hayan incluido de manera tan gráfica el tema de la contaminación ambiental, de hecho fue precisamente un frasco de vidrio (basura) en el que Ponyo queda atrapada antes de llegar a manos de Sosuke, pero considero que es muy acertada esta idea, porque es una buena manera de concientizar a los niños para que respeten, valoren y protejan al mar, entre otros recursos naturales.
I also perceive some ambiguity in the story, if you dive deeper, and is that we can find “the two faces of the sea” to call it somehow, on the one hand we find its furious and inflexible side, which can wipe out entire cities and villages, (somewhat like Ponyo's father, who wanted to keep her at all costs) but on the other hand we can also see its tender and beautiful side in Ponyo's mother (the goddess of the sea) she is the personified tenderness, mercy and justice. She sees beyond appearance, she sees the hearts and souls of people, for that reason she grants her daughter's wish to become human and live with other humans on earth.
También percibo cierta ambigüedad en la historia, si te sumerges más profundamente, y es que podemos encontrar "las dos caras del mar" por llamarlo de alguna forma, por una parte nos encontramos su lado furioso e inflexible, que puede arrasar con ciudades y pueblos enteros, (de cierta manera como el padre de Ponyo, que quería retenerla a toda costa) pero por otra parte también podemos ver su lado tierno y hermoso en la madre de Ponyo (la diosa del mar) ella es la ternura personificada, la piedad y la justicia. Ella ve más allá de la apariencia, ve los corazones y las almas de las personas, por esa razón accede al deseo de su hija de convertirse en humana y convivir con los demás humanos en la tierra.
The other time I was reading about a very disturbing hypothesis that I don't like to delve into, but I still admit it sounds interesting, anyway none of the creators of the film have confirmed anything, so I don't take it as important, but some people say that after the tsunami nobody was saved in the village (since everything was submerged) that when Ponyo and Soske go through the tunnel, they are actually entering the passage that gives them access to “heaven” and for that reason Ponyo did not want to enter there, besides, that could be the reason why the ladies no longer felt pain and did not need their wheelchairs. But I don't think so, because it wouldn't make sense that Ponyo's mother would allow her to be human and stay on earth, I honestly don't believe in hypotheses made by fans, but in what the creators left in their works.
La otra vez estuve leyendo acerca de una hipótesis muy perturbadora en la que no me gusta profundizar, pero aún así reconozco suena interesante, de todos modos ningunos de los creadores del film ha confirmado nada, de modo que no le tomo importancia, pero hay quienes afirman que luego del tsunami nadie se salvó en el pueblo (ya que todo estaba sumergido) que cuando Ponyo y Soske traspasan en túnel, en realidad están entrando al pasaje que les da acceso al "cielo" y que por esa razón Ponyo no quería entrar ahí, además, esa podría ser la razón por la cual, las señoras ya no sentían dolor ni necesitaban de sus sillas de ruedas. Pero no creo que sea así, porque no tendría sentido que la madre de Ponyo le permitiera ser humana y quedarse en la tierra, honestamente no creo en hipótesis hechas por fans, sino en lo que los creadores dejaron plasmado en sus obras.
And what about the main song of the soundtrack, isn't it cute? I love it 😍 sometimes I catch myself singing it 😄.
