In the comic Rick Grimes is left without a hand, in the series to justify this (since they had not done it) Rick cuts his hand to try to escape from the MCA (he had a tracker on his wrist) and I feel that it was very gratuitous ie, in the place there were a lot of military with night vision equipment, helicopters and so on, it would have been hard enough to escape in full power, but without a hand and bleeding out, that's why I felt it was forced motive for Rick to lose his hand, I think I would have preferred if he was going to do that it would have been because a walker bit him and that's why he had to cut his hand off. Ahora bien, en el comic Rick Grimes se queda sin mano, en la serie para justificar esto (ya que no lo habían hecho) Rick se corta la mano para intentar escapar de la CRM (tenía un rastreador en la muñeca) y siento que fue muy gratuito, es decir, en el lugar había un montón de militares con equipo de visión nocturna, helicópteros y demás, ya habría sido difícil escapar en facultades completas, que más sin una mano y desangrándose, es por eso que me pareció forzado el móvil para que Rick perdiera la mano, creo que hubiese preferido que si iba a hacerlo hubiese sido porque un caminante lo mordió y por eso tuvo que cortar su mano. Creo que lo único malo que tiene este episodio es eso, del resto... es arte.
You can see the budget invested in the series, it's quite immersive and the locations are mostly real, plus the MCA facilities and the organisation itself look quite realistic and like a dangerous organisation with too many resources. She is precisely the villain of this series and they generated a good starting point to create a powerful villain to fight against, remember that, actually Rick Grimes was kidnapped (in the end and after 10 years without being able to escape, he resigned himself to live there) and it is the encounter with Michonne that will revive the spark of the escape or the fight.
Se nota el presupuesto invertido en la serie, es bastante inmersiva y las locaciones, en su mayoría, son reales, además las instalaciones de la CRM y la organización en sí se ven bastante realistas y como una organización peligrosa con demasiados recursos. Precisamente es la villana de esta serie y generaron un buen punto de partida para crear un villano potente contra el que luchar, recordemos que realmente Rick Grimes estaba secuestrado (al final y después de 10 años sin poder escapar, se resignó a vivir ahí) y es el encuentro con Michonne el que revivirá la chispa del escape o la pelea.
Andrew Lincoln is an excellent actor so I'm not surprised that returning to the shoes of Rick Grimes worked out so well for him. We are used to seeing a stoic Rick Grimes, strong, brave, self-sacrificing and above all rebellious, to see how he ends up resigning himself to an organisation when he has always managed to rise up against it is uncomfortable, surprising, strange and at the same time majestic, he is not a perfect character, he is a real man, a realistic character.
Andrew Lincoln es un excelente actor, así que no me sorprende que volver a los zapatos de Rick Grimes le saliera tan bien. Estamos acostumbrados a ver a un Rick Grimes estoico, fuerte, valiente, sacrificado y ante todo rebelde, ver como termina resignándose ante una organización siendo que siempre que se vio sometido logró sublevarse es incómodo, sorprendente, extraño y a la vez majestuoso, no es un personaje perfecto, es un hombre real, un personaje realista .
The special effects are very good, in fact the final scene is nothing less than a helicopter crash and is quite realistic and immersive. PhiladelPhia (at least the surrounding buildings which are abandoned look quite realistic as well) the setting is perfect, just like the main series, it has that nostalgic look and feel that reminds us of the first episodes of the series.
Los efectos especiales son muy buenos, de hecho la escena final es nada menos que un accidente de helicóptero y es bastante realista e inmersivo. PhiladelPhia (al menos de los edificios colindantes los cuales están abandonados se ven bastante realistas también) la ambientación es perfecta, tal cual la serie principal, tiene ese aspecto y sensación nostálgica que nos recuerda a los primeros episodios de la serie.
Finally the reunion of Rick and Michonne was too brief but nevertheless, very, very exciting, there are many things that Michonne must tell Rick, in fact the most important is the existence of R.J. the youngest son of the two, and of whom Rick has no idea because you couldn't tell Michonne was pregnant when Rick disappeared, so the expectation to see that is what keeps the viewer motivated to continue watching the series, waiting for the future reunion of the whole family.
Finalmente el reencuentro de Rick y Michonne fue demasiado breve sin embargo, muy pero muy emocionante, hay muchas cosas que Michonne debe decirle a Rick, de hecho la más importante es la existencia de R.J, el hijo más pequeño de los dos y de quien Rick no tiene idea ya que Michonne aun no tenía panza cuando Rick desapareció, así que la expectación para ver eso es lo que mantiene al espectador motivado para seguir viendo la serie, esperando el futuro reencuentro de toda la familia.

¡Qué ganas de ver este capitulo! Siento que me va a traer mucha nostalgia. Rick Grimes es un personaje que dejo su huella en la serie principal, hubieron muchas perdidas significativas, pero siento que ninguna como la de él. Espero que en esta serie pueda tener su final feliz con toda la familia.
Creo que las pérdidas que hubo en TWD a parte de ser dolorosas al menos fueron decisiones creativas de la dirección, sin embargo la salida de Rick fue por petición de Andrew, aún así siento que trabajaron muy bien la salida del personaje y lo reinsertaron al universo de una manera espectacular, ya muero por ver el tercer episodio para ver que sigue del reencuentro de Michonne y Rick. Para mí es un 9 de 10, por qué quería ver zombis nuevos.
Por lo demás genial, esperando el capítulo 2.
Los zombies de TWD siempre han sido iguales, lentos y muy fuertes (como los zombies clásicos) a excepción de las variantes que son responsabilidad de Francia. Quizá veamos algo de eso en los siguientes episodios (recordemos que hay variantes que escalan en USA)
