This movie about the life of Bruno Sulak, a character that I did not know before watching the movie, had the purpose of the creators, in my opinion, that we could feel empathy for the main character, he was known as a kind thief, who in addition to being handsome treated people with education and consideration. He started robbing supermarkets with his girlfriend Annie and a friend, she would wait in the car and the two men would commit the robbery, he never fired the gun, he would stress to the people in the place to remember that what he was stealing did not belong to anyone, he was able to steal the checks from the cash registers and then tear them up, arguing that he was giving away markets to those people who had paid with the check, you could say that he felt like a Robin Hood.

When there were no more supermarkets to rob in the area, they started robbing jewelry stores, the police got more intense and they caught them, he is famous because he managed to escape from a jail and continue with the same modus operandi and then they caught him again. This man was a pioneer who was able to escape from a jail and then enter the jail with an armed hand to rescue one of his friends.

We are not talking about an experienced older man, he was born in 1955 and died in 1985 before he turned 30, which means that when he committed all those robberies he was about 25 years old. He was not the most loved by the police, rather he was the most wanted man because he outwitted the authorities who couldn’t catch him, he continued with his modus operandi of entering establishments without killing and getting out. I think it was more the adrenaline he felt than the need, he had opportunities when he could stop doing it and start a new life with Annie, the woman he loved the most, but even on vacation he couldn’t stop thinking about the next hit.

Esta película sobre la vida de Bruno Sulak, personaje que no conocía antes de ver la película, el propósito de los creadores, en mi opinión, fue que pudiéramos sentir empatía por el protagonista, era conocido como un ladrón amable, que además de guapo trataba a la gente con educación y consideración. Empezó robando supermercados con su novia Annie y un amigo, ella esperaba en el auto y los dos hombres cometían el robo, nunca disparaba el arma, recalcaba a las personas que se encontraban en el lugar que recordaran que lo que robaba no era de ellos, era capaz de robar los cheques de las cajas registradoras y luego romperlos, argumentando que estaba regalando mercados a aquellas personas que habían pagado con el cheque, se podría decir que se sentía como un Robin Hood.

Cuando ya no había supermercados que robar en la zona, empezaron a robar joyerías, la policía se puso más intensa y los atraparon, él es famoso porque logró escapar de una cárcel y seguir con el mismo modus operandi y luego lo volvieron a atrapar. Este hombre fue un pionero que fue capaz de escapar de una cárcel y luego entrar en la misma cárcel a mano armada para rescatar a uno de sus amigos.

No estamos hablando de un hombre mayor experimentado, nació en 1955 y murió en 1985 antes de cumplir los 30 años, lo que significa que cuando cometió todos esos atracos tenía unos 25 años. No era el más querido por la policía, más bien era el hombre más buscado porque burlaba a las autoridades que no podían atraparlo, seguía con su modus operandi de entrar en los establecimientos sin matar y salir. Creo que era más la adrenalina que sentía que la necesidad, tuvo oportunidades en las que pudo dejar de hacerlo y empezar una nueva vida con Annie, la mujer que más amaba, pero incluso en vacaciones no podía dejar de pensar en el siguiente golpe.

The police were so frustrated at being made fools of and not being able to catch Bruno and his buddies or have them in their possession and suddenly escape, that they executed one of their friends. Bruno Sulak was not a man to be locked up, but he was also not a person the jailers could trust, so they had extra measures inside the jail with him. He died during an escape attempt, one can think that the escape may have been a trap to justify his death or that he really was so desperate to get out that he took extreme measures.

I saw this movie a few weeks ago, but although it has nothing extraordinary it is a movie that I liked, it is well set, with music, costumes and color according to the years in which the events occurred. So I recommend it, if you have already seen it, tell me what you thought?

La policía estaba tan frustrada por quedar en ridículo y no poder atrapar a Bruno y sus compañeros o tenerlos en su poder y que escaparan de repente, que ajusticiaron a uno de sus amigos. Bruno Sulak no era un hombre para estar encerrado, pero tampoco era una persona en la que los carceleros pudieran confiar, por lo que tenían medidas adicionales dentro de la cárcel con él. Murió durante un intento de fuga, se puede pensar que la fuga pudo ser una trampa para justificar su muerte o que realmente estaba tan desesperado por salir que tomó medidas extremas.

Esta película la vi hace unas semanas, pero aunque no tiene nada extraordinario es una película que me gustó, está bien ambientada, con música, vestuario y colorido acorde a los años en que ocurrieron los hechos. Así que te la recomiendo, si ya la viste, cuéntame que te pareció?
