There’s no way a dynamic duo contest is up and I ain’t talking about Chris and Jackie in Rush hour!

This partnership should be in the hall of fame for most cinematic masterpieces of all time. They blended not just comedy but action and even cultural differences even though most of the English Jackie spoke in the movie had to be memorized because he wasn’t that fluent in English.
Three movie series revolved around the unlikely partnership between Detective Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan), a serious and skilled Hong Kong police officer, and Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker), a funny, loud, energetic, and arrogant LAPD detective.

Their contrasting personalities and backgrounds created one of the funniest on-screen dynamic duos ever seen. When I stumbled upon these movies, I ended up watching and rewatching it even months and years later.
My favorite scene was in the first movie where Jackie was singing along to the song 'War' and Chris stared at him wondering what he was singing. When Chris eventually understood and tried to correct Jackie but he still wasn't getting it and continued singing in his accent then they broke into a dance and seriously it was hilarious.
These movies are so old but evergreen.

Imagine it for a second. Jackie Chan, a maestro of Chinese martial arts, and Chis Tucker with his comedic background, well if you ask me nothing could go wrong. Together they delivered on over an top and perfectly timed comedic masterpiece that people from different walks of life could enjoy. Remember the scene in the second movie series where Chris was trying to teach Jackie how to dance? A classic!

The way they complemented their characters was amazing. While Chris was getting into trouble from his quick-witted remarks, Jackie was coming in to save his friend from ruining their investigations over and over again. Every conversation was hilarious and that spun majorly from the language barrier but it ended up being a hit.

Together, they created a synergy that I am still yet to see any duo beat especially in the comedy genre. I am not even sure they meant to be that funny when they were acting their scripts, if you are someone who enjoys movie bloopers, their bloopers were equally as funnier or I dare say even funnier than some movie scenes.

If you haven’t seen this movie well I would advise you to watch it because you will get a great deal of laughs and some exhilarating action.
