Freechain - Crypto Documentary

Freechain is a documentary that starts with a premise that a viewer is not your average Crypto Twitter user.

First part of the documentary is focused on explaining blockchain, bitcoin, crypto and web 3 to the viewer. Freechain tries to explain the importance of freedom and ownership and does a pretty good job of it. And i would say that freedom and ownership are the underline topics of the whole Freechain documentary.

After explaining the basics the documentary covers the overall media narrative about crypto. From just simple Bitcoin Bad, to it has no value, all the scammers and some of the positives that the media decides to show. Freechain also emphasize on Do your own research.

Next part is is about creation of Steem, SteemIt, problems of unfair lunch in crypto space, Justin Sun (Tron) and a community that cared more about freedom and ownership than coins go up. It is a topic that is pretty hard to show on screen, and to capture the feel of the whole community at those times. It does a pretty good job with all the main points and the reason of creating Hive.

This got me to dig through my old hard drives.
