Review of Arthdal Chronicles

This is one of the best Korean movies I have ever watched, it would make my top ten favorite list of all-time Korean movies.

I watched the first season many years ago and I was eagerly waiting for season 2 to come out but they didn't release it until 2023 which was 4 years later. I still remember the storyline but I needed to watch season 1 again before I watched season 2.*

This movie is based on 3 characters.

• Neanthal: These creatures are monsters, they are stronger than human

• Saram: They are humans

• Igutu - Mix of Saram and Neanthal blood.

The Neanthals are very strong but they do not harm humans unjustly, they love peace and nature but their peaceful and beautiful world cease to exist when the Saram decided to kill them all because they needed their land.

They could not do this easily because the monsters were 5 times stronger than them so they plotted against them by afflicting them with a terrible sickness that only kills them and horses, and they used their weapon to kill the rest.

Some of the Neanthal survived and among the survivors was Ragaz a Neanthal warrior who had twins with a Saram called Asa Hon

One day when he was going in the forest with one of the twins, he got attacked by Saram warriors and he was killed.

Tagon who was the mastermind of the massacre of Neanthal that happened years ago saw the twin where Ragaz hid him, he knew the child was an Igutu and the Saram hated Igutu but he did not kill the boy, so he hid him in a fortress and took care of him.

The mother took the second child and ran away to another land and that was how the sword, bell, and mirror were created.

The boy the mother ran away with was the sword of Aramun that will avenge the death of his father and other Neanthal killed unjustly and the bell is the girl he met in the place the mother took him to who is going to support him because she can hear the words of the gods and mirror is the other twin that was taken by Tagon their enemy.

Why didn't Tagon kill the Igutu even though he knew it was an abomination to bring him to their city?

You will get to know all this when you watch the movie, There are no boring moments and it seems there will be season 3!

Tagon was killed in season 2 and that is where it ends, but Mirror and some other Igutu in another land are waging War against Arthal where Sword of Aramun now rules.

So I think There would be season 3!.
