A toxic and enthralling series: You [ESP/ING]

Una de las cosas que más ame de mis vaciones fue tener la oportunidad de ver series que antes decarte por ser demasiado largas y sentir que no las terminaria, en ese proceso, empecé a ver You, una serie que me recomendaron muchas personas, cuenta con 4 temporadas (5ta y última se espera para el proximo año), cada temporada cuenta con 10 episodios, en este post vamos a tratar de analizar todo sin hacer spoilers.
You es un thiller psicologico que se centra en la vida de Joe Glodberg, un hoombre obsesivo, encantador y peligroso, el cual, se enamora profundamente de chichas a las que apenas conoce, así que hace cosas bastante extremas y cuestionables para acercarse e introducirse en la vida de las mujeres que ama. A través de las relaciones que entabla con dichas mujeres es que vamos conociendo un poco más de Joe y el porqué se comporta de dicha manera.
One of the things I loved the most about my vacations was having the opportunity to watch series that I used to discard because they were too long and I felt I would not finish them, in that process, I started watching You, a series that many people recommended to me, it has 4 seasons (5th and last one is expected for next year), each season has 10 episodes, in this post we will try to analyze everything without spoilers.
You is a psychological thriller that focuses on the life of Joe Glodberg, an obsessive, charming and dangerous man, who falls deeply in love with girls he barely knows, so he does quite extreme and questionable things to approach and enter the lives of the women he loves. It is through the relationships he establishes with these women that we get to know a little more about Joe and why he behaves the way he does.
You es una serie bastante atrapante y con una historia se puede decir que tiene la dinámica un poco cambiante, así que, por ejemplo la temporada 1 y 2 tienen un patron, pero, no los mismos personajes, la 2 y la 3 tienen algunos personajes, pero también incorporan nuevos y la 4 para mí fue la más cambiante y emocionante. Algo que me gusta de esta serie es que TODO se cuenta desde la mente de Joe, lo cual me impresiona, porque estamos en toda la trama dentro de sus pensamientos, y eso en cierta parte juega con la mente de nosotros como espectadores.
You es cuestionable en todo momento, a veces se siente como si se intentará justificar lom que hace Joe, cada cosa que pasa siempre tiene una consecuencia, es increíble también como han construido una historia que siempre puede sorprender, incluso cuando piensas que todo ya esta por perdido.
Los personajes rotan mucho de temporada en temporada, pero, yo quiero hablar del único que se mantiene desde el primer episodio: Joe, es un personaje que tiene un desarollo tan impresionante, es una locura sinceramente, algo que contrasta mucho es como podemos ver sus malas y buenas acciones convivir tan tranquilamente, lo odiamos por lo que hace, pero al mismo tiempo parecemos "entenderlo".
You is a pretty catching series and with a story you can say that it has the dynamics a little changing, so, for example season 1 and 2 have a pattern, but, not the same characters, season 2 and 3 have some characters, but also incorporate new ones and season 4 for me was the most changing and exciting. One thing I like about this series is that EVERYTHING is told from Joe's mind, which impresses me, because we are in the whole plot inside his thoughts, and that in some part plays with the mind of us as viewers.
You is questionable at all times, sometimes it feels like it's trying to justify what Joe does, everything that happens always has a consequence, it's also amazing how they have built a story that can always surprise, even when you think everything is already lost.
The characters rotate a lot from season to season, but, I want to talk about the only one that remains from the first episode: Joe, is a character that has such an impressive development, it's crazy honestly, something that contrasts a lot is how we can see his bad and good actions coexist so calmly, we hate him for what he does, but at the same time we seem to "understand him".
Joe a través de las temporada, convive con Love Quinn, un personaje con el que tiene una relación y termina siendo casi que un espejo para él, ella termina aportando mucho en la trama, incluso por un momento toma el protagonico de la trama. Joe y Love juntos son caos, pero, ella también nos proporciona una visión diferente de él.
Con cada temporada, se explica con hechos o podemos notar algunos de los trastornos que tiene Joe, cada vez se vuelve más oscuro, pero, en la última temporada creo que pudimos ver que no son las situaciones que lo llevan a eso, es su naturaleza y por más que el intente, esas cosas no pueden cambiar.
Joe throughout the season, lives with Love Quinn, a character with whom he has a relationship and ends up being almost a mirror for him, she ends up contributing a lot in the plot, even for a moment takes the lead role in the plot. Joe and Love together are chaos, but, she also provides us with a different vision of him.
With each season, it is explained with facts or we can notice some of the disorders that Joe has, each time he becomes darker, but, in the last season I think we could see that it is not the situations that lead him to that, it is his nature and no matter how hard he tries, those things can't change.
Sinceramente de cara a la última temporada, me muero por saber cómo se desarrollan las cosas y si el final termina siendo digno para esta serie, en el final de la cuarta temporada las cosas cambiaron, Joe regresará a New York (su ciudad natal y de la que huyo en el final de la primera temporada). Así que, parece que después de todo Joe toma más fuerza, y si la temporada 4 estuvo oscura, y fue una lucha entre las cualidades de Joe, me muero por daber cómo manejaran estos aspectos en la temporada 5.
Realmente tienen que correr a ver You, es una de las mejores series que he visto en Netflix ultimamente, solo siento que se puede superar por Ozark que se mantiene como mi serie favorita de Netflix, pero, tengo que decir que You tuvo un punto a su favor, y fue que a pesar de tener una trama compleja, se hizo fácil de digerir y fue bastante maratoneble... Así que, esta serie tiene la capacidad de entretene, volarte la cabeza y al mismo tiempo tener una buena historia que la respalde.
Honestly looking forward to the last season, I'm dying to know how things develop and if the ending ends up being worthy for this series, in the end of the fourth season things changed, Joe will return to New York (his hometown and the one he fled from in the end of the first season). So, it seems that Joe is getting stronger after all, and if season 4 was dark, and it was a struggle between Joe's qualities, I can't wait to see how they will handle these aspects in season 5.
You really have to run out and watch You, it is one of the best series I have seen on Netflix lately, I only feel it can be surpassed by Ozark which stands as my favorite Netflix series, but, I have to say that You had one point in its favor, and that was that despite having a complex plot, it was made easy to digest and was quite marathonable.... So, this series has the ability to entertain, blow your mind and at the same time have a good story to back it up.

Netflix tiene muchas series interesantes, esta no la he visto. Lo bueno de las vacaciones es que siempre tienes un tiempo para conectar y ver algo nuevo o que te llame la atención. Las tramas de suspenso son lo mio. : )
Una serie muy buena y desde que salió la comencé a ver, la paré y ahora ya me falta poco para terminarla, sin duda es algo que cuenda y se observan episodios que son de rellenos y quizás lo podían haber quitado. Sin embargo la trama es interesante como ese personaje juega y se va metiendo en la vida d ellas mujeres siendo algo impactante y jamás me imagine verlo. Sin duda van explicando cada detalle y permite que uno vaya entendiendo esa locura que comete. Ahora queda esperar y esas vacaciones fueron geniales.
