Our Kind of Weekend Movie Date

There is always something about spending the weekend in a fun, interesting, and enjoyable way. Sometimes we want to spend time with our family or friends, especially when we haven't seen them in a while.

Do you also love watching movies? I don't know if I already mentioned it here, but I am fond of watching documentaries, movies, and series during my free time. I do have a subscription at Netflix, and it's the platform I am hooked to for years now as I do love the series and movies here.

On the other hand, I don't forget the usual watching of a movie through the cinema theatre. And it's one of the things I enjoy, not only because of the movie, but also the vibe in front of the wide screen. So without further ado, here's a quick catch up on our weekend movie date.

But before anything else, when we got to the city, we first had our lunch at Jollibee since my nephew is with us. You know, kids will always choose Jollibee above all.

After eating lunch, we headed to the ticket booth where we bought four tickets. Luckily, there are free popcorns when we bought them, which saved us some money for snacks. After getting the tickets along with the free snacks stub, we claimed the popcorn and looked for more foods to bring inside the cinema.

Minutes of decision-making, and we ended up buying fries as an additional to the popcorn. Also, we bought some drinks before entering the cinema. We were already sitting in our chosen seats 5 minutes before the movie started.

The movie went on, and it was almost 3 hours. I did not get the chance to capture more photos of the movie since I was too busy and pre-occupied by enjoying it. Also, I did not want to blink an eye on the twists.

When we got out of the theatre, there was a booth where we can take pictures. I asked my nephew to take some shots with me, and I am so happy that he said yes, even though he's a shy type.

Overall, it was a great weekend experience. Watching a movie from a wide screen gives a different vibe, indeed.

I cannot express how thankful I am to those who have taken the time to read what I have written today. Your support means everything to me. Please acknowledge the sincere thanks I feel for each and every one of you. I hope to see you on my next blog and look forward to it. Sending peace and love! :)
