It feels like it has been a long time since part one of Dune was released and I can't hardly remember all of its details. Dune Part Two certainly gave what fans wanted. Although some may say Dune Part Two lacks explosive action sequences the story is more than enough to carry the film's narrative.

The film's story is about the ascension of Paul Atreides. It details the story of how Paul Atreides works his way to power. Little by little he devises his plan to ascend to power and to get his revenge on the killing of his father.

"Dune Part Two" was able to capture the magic from part one. The technology is still impressive the dragonfly like vehicle is still very common. The bug like harvester by the Harkonnens is so massive and seems like as tall as a 50 floor skyscraper.

"Dune Part Two" failed to give us a lot of explosive actions sequences but it still good. The story most did the lifting on this one. And the fans got what they wanted that originated in the first film, the revenge of Paul Atreides and his ascension to power as an emperor.

"Dune Part Two" is more into dialogue than action sequence but it is not going to make you boring because of the cohesiveness of the story. Every scene is not wasted and all accounted for the overall greatness of the story.

"Dune Part Two" has done a great job in showing how Paul was able to ride and control a sand worm which is not an ordinary but it was said to have the biggest ever seen by the Fremens.

The screenshot below depicts a writing on the wall showing a Fremen riding and controlling a sand worm which Paul Atreides did on the movie. Any worm scene is probably one of my favorite on this movie because it is not every day that I got to see a movie like Dune.

There are also unexpected characters showing up in the movie which makes the story of the movie a lot more interested than just focusing on the Paul's story.

In the first movie I thought Fremens were like small group of people chose to live on the sand but then I was surprised when I saw them on a scene. If I am going to estimate their number I think they are in hundreds of thousands.

The screenshot below shows a multitude of Fremen while Paul Atreides is speaking at them in the middle. I must say that their number is staggering. Now I get why Paul Atreides wanted to fight alongside them because they have the number which can help him get to his goal, to avenge his father's death.

I didn't read the book, so, when the movie is in its later part I am quite surprised on what Paul Atreides is becoming. As Dune Part Two is nearing its end I now realize that Paul chose to lead the Fremen to which Chani is against. If I remember it right, Paul once said that he didn't want to rule or lead the Fremen but then here in part he chose to lead them and drag them with his battles. It happened all because of his ability to foresee fragments of the future and the past.

By telling the past of some of the Fremen Paul has convinced them that he is "The One". Stilgar then asked him what he can see for their future. He said, green paradise and then they started chanting his alias. And then it seems to me that this is going to be dark. If I remember it right Paul seems not to like the idea of him being the messiah but then at the end of the movie he becomes the messiah that fremen has been waiting for a long.

Dune Part Two gave what fans have wanted at the end of the first movie, revenge. Although it lacked explosive action sequences the story itself and how it was made is enough to make this a great sequel. With that being said, I am excited to see Dune Part Three. Since Dune Part Two has given fans what they wanted I am thinking if what will be the narrative of Dune Part Three since he already exact his revenge. I think Paul Atreides will wage war on those that does not recognize him as the emperor but for what reason? Isn't revenge his only motivation in Dune Part Two? I think after he exacted revenge his thirst for power consumed him and by that he waged war on all great house that doesn't recognize.
