Hello and welcome to the 7TH edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. In a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community, as well as showcase the work of deserving authors, the Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun.

And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works that we enjoyed throughout the week and to also boost exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.

So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for this week:

And I was not wrong. At the beginning everything was under a relaxed atmosphere, where they told the story of friendship of two girls and everything they were living throughout their lives; they knew each other since they were little girls and have maintained their friendship ever since. When I started watching the movie, I immediately identified myself with the plot, because I visualized myself with some friends I have from childhood and I saw myself reflected in the whole plot, the first boyfriends, the first sexual relationship, marriage, children and also in how different we are and, however, we are still friends like the protagonist.

Title: Forget Your Election Worries and Laugh

Forget your election....jpg

But before we get started: Research has shown that laughter is good for us. It has all kinds of health benefits. Despite most of us knowing this, none of us laugh enough. Yeah, I know, being an adult is tough, and furthermore there is a lot of grim stuff happening in the world. These things may be true, but that just is all the more reason for trying to get a little laughter into our lives.

Title: Forget The Criticism and Enjoy the Movie

Forget the criticism.jpg

If you put aside the analysis of what's possible or probable, and just enjoy the helicopter chase scenes or the endless fights, it's hard not to get caught up. In the end, this type of movie works best if you close the door on logic and just enjoy the intensity of each mission and Hunt's ingenuity. In all of these movies, "leaving logic at the door" makes you enjoy the action elements without getting caught up in the criticisms. Sometimes that's the best way to watch movies!

Title: Review of Mad Max Fury Road

One major aspect that makes this film shine is the editing and cinematography. Every scene is so vivid and striking. The action sequences, the car chase and fights, the mayhem that ensues are realistically and delightfully executed, if I may say so. The fast-paced mood makes the scenes more exciting. Unlike the modern blockbusters, this film doesn't portray any of those cheap special effects. It's obvious a lot of work went into making this movie.

Title: Arcane and the Challenge of Repeating Its Success in Season 2

Arcane.jpg

If you're not into video games, you can still really enjoy this series. I promise you haven't seen anything like it before. So, now's the perfect time to watch the first season and then jump right into the second, which starts with an interesting three-episode format. I applaud Netflix for this decision. Dropping the entire season at once has spoiled people and killed the hype of waiting for new episodes.

Title: Men

Men.jpg

'Men', as free as it is profound, takes us through metaphors and allegories, with captivating images that will satisfy Garland's fans. What begins as a psychological thriller evolves into a terrifying finale with elements of fantasy cinema, challenging the viewer to unravel an open-ended and enigmatic plot. This lack of concreteness can dilute the message the author is trying to convey, leaving the viewer with the task of interpreting the hidden meaning in this story.

And there you have it! Congratulations to all those spotlighted this week. We look forward to more exceptional content. And to everyone posting in the community, we look forward to seeing more of you around.
