The Manifest: Everything ends and everything begins again | Final Season [ENG/ESP]

Several days ago I finished watching The Manifest, a series that has 4 seasons in total, 64 chapters that encompass a story that can easily involve the viewer. I will not talk about things that I have already talked about in previous occasions such as the cast, the scenery or anything like that, but I will focus fully on the end, I do not understand how there are people waiting for a 5th season if everything is already finished, maybe they did not fully understand the story, but anyway, the series reached its climax and had a decent ending considering its context.

We start this last season with a confinement of all the passengers of flight 828, the rest of humanity, governments can no longer with the fear of seeing how inexplicable things happen and have decided to put a stop to these people who "are the culprits" according to them. This reminds me of how many individuals have been persecuted for their beliefs, some martyred and others excluded for the sole fact of thinking and living differently, a price that can be paid for going against the current.

It is something that still happens in reality, and although they want to cover everything under the facade of "relativism" you can not cover the sun with a finger, and here in the story is one of the aspects that the author wants to highlight, it is even a criticism of governments to go with all its power against those who do not go according to the established order.

Now following the plot of events, the passengers reach a point where they must risk their lives and solve the last calls to try to survive the day of their death. The fantasy takes place in a deeper way in this last season, it cannot be separated from the events because it is very intertwined with the story, the supernatural, metaphysics, mythology, reality and many more things can be visualized, we even have a declared agent of evil that represents an antichrist, but with much subtlety deceives his followers.

At times I was stressed because it was losing its charm, the repetitive of some things, the incredible of others, exhausted me mentally, but everything changed when the final day came, the day of death of all the characters, there I cheered up because the denouement was just around the corner and there is definitely nothing better than being in the last chapters of a story, at that point is where all the thoughts in the mind begin to mesh and where one realizes how right and wrong it was, everything happens together.

That last day was very emotional, I must say that I liked it, and the closure for the characters was very accurate, maybe some of them should die, but I liked how the author touched the theme of a definitive second chance, of course, here on this earth and to continue on this earth but living in a different way.

The main characters had their happy ending, some evildoers were saved while others were destroyed, what many had lost they recovered, that's why the title of my post, all those things that can bring satisfaction to a person were added in the end of the characters, who survived by doing things correctly, "earning" the merit of moving on with their lives.

In that sense science fiction won, I say this because when you analyze the whole story with a cool head you can notice things that were not in sight because of the immediate context, but it is evident how this series presents a satire against providence, or rather its control over humanity, just like another series that I am watching and will review later. But at this point we have men who can rule their destiny through good deeds, that way they managed to survive death, those who did wrong died while those who helped others survived, their heart was weighed in the balance and their good deeds saved them.

While it is a point that places man at the center, that is something that is far from reality, however I reiterate what I said at the beginning, it is a work of science fiction, anything can happen and in fact it does, everything happens. Perhaps it was not the author's main intention but it communicates a message to the audience of positivism, of will is power and many other things. I conclude with the fact that it is an entertaining story that can make your imagination fly but can also lead you to reflect on a second moment, a better way of doing things, and why not, a call to be better people and actively influence our families and environment.

El Manifiesto: Todo termina y todo vuelve a comenzar | Temporada final [ENG/ESP]

Hace varios días termine de ver el manifiesto, una serie que tiene 4 temporadas en total, 64 capítulos que engloban una historia que fácilmente puede envolver al espectador. No hablare de cosas que ya he hablado en anteriores ocasiones como el elenco, el escenario ni nada de eso, sino que me enfocare de lleno en el final, no entiendo como hay personas esperando una 5ta temporada si todo ya está terminado, quizás no entendieron del todo la historia, pero en fin, la serie llego a su clímax y tuvo un final decente considerando su contexto.

Comenzamos esta última temporada con un confinamiento de todos los pasajeros del vuelo 828, el resto de la humanidad, los gobiernos ya no pueden con el temor de ver como suceden cosas inexplicables y han decidido poner un alto a estas personas que “son los culpables” según ellos. Esto me recuerda en como muchos individuos han sido perseguidos por sus creencias, algunos martirizados y otros excluidos por el único hecho de pensar y vivir diferente, un precio que se puede pagar por ir en contra de la corriente.

Es algo que aun sucede en la realidad, y aunque quieran encubrir todo bajo la fachada del “relativismo” no se puede tapar el sol con un dedo, y acá en la historia es uno de los aspectos que el autor quiere resaltar, incluso es una crítica a los gobiernos por ir con todo su poder contra aquellos que no van acorde al orden establecido.

Ahora bien siguiendo la trama de sucesos, los pasajeros llegan a un punto donde deben arriesgar sus vidas y resolver las últimas llamadas para intentar sobrevivir al día de su muerte. La fantasía toma lugar de una forma más profunda en esta última temporada, no se puede separar de los eventos porque está muy entrelazada con la historia, lo sobrenatural, la metafísica, la mitología, la realidad y muchas cosas más se pueden visualizar, incluso tenemos un agente del mal declarado que representa un anticristo, pero que con mucha sutileza engaña a sus seguidores.

Por momentos me estreso debido a que estaba perdiendo su encanto, lo repetitivo de algunas cosas, lo increíble de otras, me agotaron mentalmente, pero todo cambio cuando llego el día final, el día de la muerte de todos los personajes, allí me anime porque el desenlace estaba a la vuelta de la esquina y definitivamente no hay nada mejor que estar en los últimos capítulos de una historia, en ese punto es donde todos los pensamientos en la mente comienzan a engranar y donde una se da cuenta de lo acertado y equivocado que estaba, todo ocurre conjuntamente.

Ese último día fue muy emotivo, debo afirmar que me gusto, y el cierre para los personajes fue muy acertado, quizás algunos debían morir podrás pensar, pero me gusto como el autor toco el tema de una segunda oportunidad definitiva, claro, acá en esta tierra y para seguir en esta tierra aunque viviendo de una forma diferente.

Los protagonistas tuvieron su final feliz, algunos malvados se salvaron mientras que otros fueron destruidos, lo que muchos habían perdido lo recuperaron, por eso el título de mi post, todas esas cosas que pueden traer satisfacción a una persona fueron añadidas en el final de los personajes, que sobrevivieron por hacer las cosas correctamente, “ganándose” el mérito de seguir adelante con sus vidas.

En ese sentido la ciencia ficción gano, esto lo digo por el hecho de que cuando analizas toda la historia con cabeza fría podrás notar cosas que no estuvieron a la vista por el contexto inmediato, pero es evidente como esta serie presenta una sátira en contra de la providencia, o mejor dicho del control de la misma sobre la humanidad, tal cual como otra serie que estoy viendo y luego reseñare. Pero en este punto tenemos a hombres que pueden regir su destino a través de las buenas obras, de esa forma lograron sobrevivir a la muerte, los que hicieron mal murieron mientras los que ayudaron a los demás sobrevivieron, su corazón fue pesado en la balanza y sus buenas obras los salvaron.

Si bien es un punto que coloca al hombre en el centro, eso es algo que está muy lejos de la realidad, sin embargo reitero lo que he dicho al principio, es una obra de ciencia ficción, todo puede pasar y de hecho es así, todo pasa. Quizás no fue la intención principal del autor pero comunica un mensaje a la audiencia de positivismo, de querer es poder y muchas cosas más. Concluyo con el hecho de que es una historia entretenida que puede hacer volar tu imaginación pero también te puede llevar a la reflexión sobre un segundo momento, una mejor forma de hacer las cosas, y porque no, un llamado a ser mejores personas e influir activamente en nuestras familias y entorno.
