Old But Gold: Home Alone (some thoughts about the movie)

I'm really glad that Netflix has listed one of the best movies in the 90s, Home Alone!

It was released back in 1991 but I only managed to watch it a few years later in VHS. For those who were unable to get their hands on a VHS, it's an analog video recording system that looks like a huge cassette tape. It's a film for videos or movies.

It was the gold old days when we were renting VHS tapes from resellers and then watching them with family or friends. Now that we have Netflix, we usually watch on our own since we have separate rooms or places because we already have our devices with us.

It's probably the most entertaining "feel-good" movie that I used to enjoy and I'm still enjoying it as I watch the movie. Kevin, the main character, has come up with creative solutions to deter and prevent the burglars from stealing their things at home.

Kevin (the main character) is cool and witty. He was able to outsmart two well-experienced bandits to protect their house from them. He may be a little mean with her mother he doesn't mean to say it.

The entertaining part is when Kevin (the main character) uses the dialogue from his favorite movies to make the outsiders believe that Kevin is not alone in his house. It's like an adventure but everything happens in their house.

I think this is the movie that inspired me to be adventurous when I was still a small kid.

As much as I wanted to pity the burglars, I think it's hilarious how pitiful they looked after getting hit by all of the traps that Kevin had set up for them. It's almost playful and funny which makes it even more entertaining.

I guess I was hooked too much that I also watched the sequel, Home Alone 2!

This is my kind of movie especially if I just want to get excited and have a good laugh.
