Hi, everyone! Sorry we took a break from posting the author showcase, now we'll try to stick to the regular schedule.

In the spirit of Curie's mission to promote undiscovered and exceptional content, we wish to use this ongoing section to provide an author showcase for some of the outstanding authors who received Curie upvotes in the past week. I'm a major fan of Lord of the Rings. It is without a shadow of a doubt my favorite movie & series of movies.

I remember as a young hobbit, my Dad brought me to the cinema in our capital city of Dublin to see the Fellowship. Thinking back I didn't think he'd of been into it, maybe it was all the rage because even as a young kid I can still vaguely remember seeing ads & billboards advertising the film everywhere! So it was hard to ignore it.

Wanted to reflect back on June, but more in a Journal style with a focus on visuals. I've always admired pretty journals on pinterest but had never tried out the style myself and now that I have finally tasted the probability of maybe, finally not being afraid of drawing, it is clear to me, that I just need to get out and through as much as drawings as I possibly can, to eventually catch the feeling, that maybe I can draw SOMETHING after all.

Grateful and empowered was I when I last attended the Hive Orientation and the OCD Onboarding Program participated by the teachers of Caduawan Elementary School, the teachers from the neighboring school (Tabogon District), and several college students. This time I was no longer the newbie whose eyes were filled with curiosity and amazement, but a proud Hiver in mind and at heart to have this privilege to share this truly wonderful, decentralized HIVE platform with others, especially my co-teachers.

They were running. The howling winds and bending trees were clarion calls that signified that humans ought not to be out of their comfy beds in the midst of such a storm. The couple knew this, yet they ran. No one knew why they were running with a bundle in the man’s arms.

“Malik! You dimwit, where are you going in the storm? That too with your wife.”

“Always knew he had some screws loose.”

Do you remember the movie The Matrix? It's about a regular guy who had a lot of questions about the world he lived in, online he was known as Neo, until one day, what he seeking, sought him and found out that he was living in a simulated world run by robots and use humanity as a power source. Now this is a fictional movie but since the first movie was released there were different conspiracy theories that circulated around it. One of which is that the machine symbolizes the higher entities or organization that operates by manipulating and leading the society on the design structure that they created.
