I don't know who Pedro Alonso O'Choro is, but I know Berlin.
He is a madman, he is a genius, he is a romantic and he is a lover. Pedro Alonso O'choro is the character-based creator of La Casa De Papel Berlin, the character of Berlin, who is overshadowed by the Professor in La Casa De Papel and continues the series under his own name.
Some characters are very successful in getting ahead of the names of some movies or TV series. After the Professor, the character of Berlin is one of those who I think has managed to get ahead of the series he is in with his character.
Carrying more than one characteristic and reflecting it successfully; identifying with the character portrayed can be some of the important details in terms of actor performance. For me, the most endearing aspect of Berlin's character was his consistent madness.
Unlike Pedro Alonso O'choro in La Casa De Papel, who reflected all the characteristics expected of a crazy person in his character, in La Casa De Papel Berlin seemed to have transcended himself with his appearance of independence and higher self-confidence. In La Casa De Papel, he also appeared crazy, mad and romantic, but still incapable of making decisions on his own.
Despite the character's high qualities, the fact that he was kept within certain boundaries was not an obstacle to his success, but being in the background was an obstacle to what he could do. Pedro Alonso O'Choro manages to break these chains in La Casa De Papel Berlin. Adding planning and execution genius to his known qualities, Berlin is now the Professor-like mad lover of the sequel series.
Everything is expected from a crazy person. For Pedro Alonso O'Choro, madness has given way to dullness and the appearance of a man to fall in love with when there are no limits to what he can do, although madness in doses is still there, but in other aspects the character is building a higher ladder.
The stance against the system gives way to robbery in different areas, but the gang and the perfect plan created continues where it left off. Pedro Alonso O'choro sets the bar higher for character achievement with his love for a married woman and the way he defines infidelity.
Since the series La Casa De Papel Berlin and the story of the character of Berlin is not yet complete, I refrain from sharp statements. Nevertheless, with the character of Berlin, Pedro Alonso O'choro seems to have managed to get ahead of the series. A new character is also being created that can compete with him in terms of craziness, but that's not today's topic!
While watching the character, who has the extra skill of revealing and questioning the flaws of the system, authority, laws, order and moral values, the fact that he makes us question what we have known to be true until now and then convinces us to agree with him shows the power of the character's sphere of influence.
There are some things you can say without talking, but there are some things you can't say as much as you want. This has less to do with the strength of the character and more to do with what the character reflects and fails to reflect. It's a bit about what you want to see and what you don't want to see. Pedro Alonso O'choro never contradicted what he accomplished and what he projected. Even in his immoral position, he was the superior one in creating the difference to justify himself.
Many characteristics of the Berlin character are proof of his difference. When you do something out of the ordinary you stand out. When you stand out, you don't bother anyone on the entertainment side of things, and you create your own audience with your own unique image. If you've already managed to do that, you're already ahead of both your real name and the movie or TV series in which you give life to the character.
Pedro Alonso O'Choro did not disturb me as a viewer with any of his contradictions. But I must say that this credit I gave him is only valid for the character of Berlin. In fact, it would be more accurate to use his character Berlin instead of his name because I don't know him, I know Berlin. Thank you for being here and reading.
