Talking Phone

When I saw this prompt, nothing came to my mind other than seeing my phone talking like the way we see in anime movies. I imagined my digital life as a movie, with my gadgets having personalities, and, of course, my phone as the main character. It would be talking. Oh boy, I sometimes feel like my phone talks invisibly to me me though.

I’m so attached to my phone that after God, it comes next, even before food and other needs. The few times I leave my phone are either when I’m sleeping or when I’m working on tasks that don’t require its use – though these moments are becoming rare.

On the start of the day in my movie, my phone would be overjoyed to feel my hand on it again. In fact, if I wait up to five minutes after opening my eyes without touching it, it would start talking or even tugging at my clothes to get my attention. When I finally grab it, my phone would feel loved and appreciated. You know, besides the heavy usage we put them through, phones love being interacted with, so using them brings them joy.

I usually have a lot of things I do on my phone. So, as soon as I pick it up, my phone would start listing the apps or sites I should check, one after another. Since it knows what I like most, it would suggest visiting social media first, like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. These are my favorite places and, naturally, where most of my data goes.

When I’ve spent enough time on social media, my phone would remind me to visit other necessary sites and attend to my routine tasks – especially the trending Telegram airdrops.

I have a bit of a bad habit when it comes to charging my phone. Even if the battery is at 100% and I see 1% drop, I’ll grab my charger and plug it in if there’s electricity. In that situation, my phone would probably complain about being overcharged. Since electricity is seasonal here, I take advantage of any opportunity to charge my phone, even if it’s only 1% down. My phone wouldn’t understand this feeling, and if it could cry on such occasions, I would likely ignore its complaints.

Another area where my phone would definitely be vocal is during overheating. The phone I’m currently using has a frequent overheating issue, mostly because of my excessive usage. Often, my phone will prompt warnings to allow it to cool down, but I don’t heed these warnings; I just keep using it for whatever task I’m focused on at the moment. In this movie, my phone would cry out in protest and possibly “catch a fever” from overheating, but I wouldn’t let it cool down until I’m finished.

Title for this movie?🤔

I think "Talking Phone" has it.

Thanks!
