Farewell Rae Glacier

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

These will be the last of the photos from the incredible Rae Glacier hiking experience. I have shared a lot of photos already up until this point. It seems that I do more photographing than hiking actually! Maybe I ought to do more hiking and less photo taking? Sometime I do want to put down the camera and just hike, but I always feel compelled to take more and more, kinda like an addiction. A good addiction you might say. Anyways, these are the last images from that great afternoon. Hope you enjoyed them. Photos taken on the hiking trail from Rae Glacier, Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada.

The picture of the college is quite good and I think it is very cold in that place.

It was actually on the warm side. Thanks.

Personally, when I saw the post about this mountain, I immediately remembered that I used to often see it in magazines, but as long as there is @davek's post about this mountain, I have more freedom to entertain myself.

The black and white versions look stunning. It's not that the original versions are bad, but I seem to be quite attracted lately towards black and white photography...

The black and white stuff really starts to grow on you, the more you look at it. Thanks @acesontop.

These are fantastic my man, I feel like I am there in that first shot. Well done, also I met some bird photographer couple from your area while out shooting yesterday. They seemed like a retired couple enjoying life and trips. Keep the addiction going because you are technically still hiking too, your just taking epic photography breaks along the way. haha. Have a blessed one

Yeah, will do. Thanks man. Looking forward to a busy year of hiking adventures to come!

It will really be a joy someday to visit this type of mountain. Imagine been at the very mountain top

That vertical cliff face with the black rocks is really cool. The black and white brings it out. Is it actually a black mineral or is it stained from above I wonder. Great shots!

Without these pictures, we wouldn't be with you on your many hikes. So fire on with those shots as we behold the beauty of the Rockies through your lenses.
