My Brother And I Watched A Movie I Bought For 25 Cents 3.24.2025

Of course I like going to my nearby Goodwill Store. It is were I buy DVD's and VHS's for only 25 cents each. Now that is some cheap entertainment.

Also with cheap entertainment one can save more money. And why would one want to save more money? Well, one reason is to buy another fraction of a Bitcoin or buy whole XRP coins.

Let's go back to the DVD, it is called Notting Hill, it is a place in London as far as I know. I never been there. Well anyway in the movie a famous girl somehow gets involved with a local bloke, as they say.

Well how many times does one get to even talk to a famous person? Maybe once in awhile. There is this back and forth and one thinks the other doesn't like them. Well, it happens in the movie.

I won't give away the movie too much, but my brother told me he really enjoyed the movie.

So talking to famous people. There was one time in my town, I met Tommy Tutone in a bar. This was in my backsliding days. I don't go to bars anymore. But there he was, it was in the mid 90's and he just played a show at the same bar the night before, I guess he just stayed in town and was just standing at the bar and looking at the girls.

I looked around and noticed he was not with anyone. So I thought I would say, Hello. I said something like, Hey Tommy Tutone, I seen your show last night, you were good. Well we got a talking about recording studios and good musicians.

Well, that is one famous person that I talked to some decades ago.

Of course a famous person is also just a person.

In the movie, Notting Hill, the famous girl that is a movie star, says to the lad, After all, I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her - from the movie Notting Hill.

You know that line in the movie always gets me.
